Hey all! Just curious - who's going to Origins this year? The countdown continues - only 35 days to go!  In case you missed it, here are the relevant blog posts:

I also wanted to do a shout-out to Dan Anderson (Uthrac) who is currently working on TEN rounds of LFR adventures! That includes writing the Origins BI by himself, ALL of the LFR content premiering at Origins, and the next epic mod. It's not easy being the writing director for two different regions... (Heck - I'm only writing one adventure right now and that's pretty exhausting...) Dan - thanks for being so awesome! We appreciate you!

I am planning on going to Origins.  This year is a little different because I'll be DMing for the first time (at Origins, I DM all the time at home!).  For LFR games, I definitely want to get in on the Battle Interactive.  Beyond that, I'm also looking at some Living Divine, and some other random games that I would not get to play with the local group.

Hats off to Dan - sounds like you'll be a little busy!
I heard that they are making a new video game, where you control the Netherese flying citadel of Sakkors, raining death on your helpless enemies below.  Working title: Mythal Command.

Thanks . . . but the real prize goes to the authors who are polishing up some really cool adventures on a tight timeline!

I'll be at Origins as well - - so if anyone has questions or comments about the adventures, come find me!

This is just a trial run. My hope is that if it goes well, I have dreams that Dan will be in charge 20 rounds next go around!

Ack! Don't do that! We don't want this to happen to Dan:

I think we would all prefer Dan like this:

Point of clarification: Maybe *you* don't want that to happen to Dan. Some of us (namely, those of us who live states away instead of in the same location) may consider this to be an interesting experiment

My first thought was to send some strong but legal beverages to Dan to help him through.

Then I realized that might be what got him into this position in the first place.

Godspeed, my friend.

I don't remember strong beverages when he vollunteered and we kept asking whether he was sure... Sleep deprevation might have been a cause, or he is already at (which might very well be a requirement for any author anyway). But yeah, we are extremely grateful for his work

As for Origins, sorry, for me it is a choice between GenCon and Origins. The choice is easy.

Well, if we are talking in rounds, I get to 30* that I am working on right now... (that would be 9 adventures, btw).
I rock!  (jk)

Planning on being their for the entire con, and playing my guts out.   Will have to see if I can line up some faces with (message board) names.

Big thanks to Dan, Lori, and everyone who's working hard to get the adventures ready.
