In Soviet Calimshan, accent has you. I'll be honest, I only really have a british accent when folks around me have them. I did go from none to one between the airport and the hotel via a helpful cabbie last time I was in London though. Though I think my proper butler bard could fit the british accent just fine, if we do ever play those characters again. Anyhow, sounds like I missed some fun. Glad it all went well

Wow! That's impressively speedy. Many thanks!

Wow! That's impressively speedy.
I hear that a lot. Fortunately, never from my wife.

What, not French? I thought snooty french accents were a requirement line for Vicious Mockery...
And I'll second the thanks to those who helped make sure everything ran smoothly, DMs, Volunteers, and other Organizers, it was a blast (and very nice to see the BI was largely unaffected by the new, erm, scheduling choices Origins made)

Oh, and I loved the English accent.
How random.
Should I start using one?
Not so random - he mentioned up-thread that he'd be the only one there with an English accent. I learned a lot of interesting tidbits about our friends across the pond. Like that they don't have girl scout cookies and their girl scouts are called rainbows, butterflies, and happiness or something.
And yes, you can start using an English accent if you want. Although I can't imagine Bladerest, your pig farmer, the Scottish Pixie, or any of your other PCs with an English accent. And everyone knows that natives of Akanul have Russian accents.
The boys have beavers, cubs and scouts. The girls have brownies, rainbows and guides.
