The Epic Writing Directors announced that all six remaining LFR EPIC adventures (for PCs level 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30) will be completed and released before the end of the LFR campaign (whenever that happens to be). GAME ON!

When every other question is whether it'll happen, and one group is wandering around with a sign about how it won't happen...
Seemed necessary to clear things up.

Given we haven't recieved all of the adventures from Gencon 2011 and we dont' have the promised final version of the Meta Org Doc, nor a current final version of the CCG can we really believe that we'll ever see the rest of the EPIC mods?
Especially since we know that sometime sooner rather than later 4th ed will finish.
Sorry to be negative but this seems to be just echoing the trend of LFR over the past 18 months.

I know I repeat myself on here a lot, but I would like to say thank you everyone who has helped with the Epic Campaign. I am getting ready to start my home group on EPIC3-1 in the next month and will most-assuredly give feedback. I know it is a lot of work, but thank you. I look forward to seeing where the Epic Campaign continues and will eventually conclude. Keep up the good work.

We're not working on those things, so I can't really speak as to when they'll be out or not.
But, I can say that we're working on Epic and not those things. Ergo, we're committing to what we're working on. No more, no less.
And those modules will come out, on either their original schedule, or an accelerated schedule if need be. We've already lined up authors for all of them. I have today/yesterday emails in my inbox about the level 25, 26, and 29th, an IM about the 28th, and we had a solid over-beers conversation about 27th and 30th just 5 days ago.
Feel free to point your disapproval at other folks, but Dan and I have (and continue) to work our butts off to get the modules out

While I can understand some skepticism about commitments that campaign contributors have made in general, I would avoid directing that at the Epic team. If anyone has demonstrated an incredible amount of integrity in spite of all of the usual occurrences that threaten to derail the production of an adventure, it's Keith and Dan. They also have the track record to support it. I speak from experience when I say that it takes a tremendous amount of commitment and effort to stick to one's deadlines in this environment.
Let's also not forget the fact that their sole motivation is their passion for this campaign - they owe you nothing.
So let's give these guys the credit they deserve and hold back the skepticism unless it's actually warranted.
p.s. Thank you Floru.

This is some excellent news! "Awesome" even (given that this is Epic). There... I said it: it's awesome.
A big thank you to the writers for making such an unexpected commitment! I feel its truly above and beyond.

First P3 module this weekend, I can't wait to get the next few levels so I can try out the EPIC series. Even if LFR ends or I move out of Oxford before we finish them, I'll be asking the group to play them, or coming back to go through them. Cheers for all the hard work!

My observation is purely based on trends and that there have been no modules released on schedule for the past 12ish months nor any other promised documents released to the schedule. I should also clarify that I’m not pointing criticism at individuals, rather the process. I don't believe that the writing directors or the writers are the problem here but given the black box nature of the process, there is no way for us in the general community to point criticism anywhere. All I know is that we are not getting material delivered on time or even close to any of the times set by those in control of the release dates. I don't think anyone minds volunteers missing release dates but what we do mind is release dates constantly missed by 6+ months. We understand that all the work being performed for LFR is voluntary, but at this point, for me, actions speak louder than words. I am fed up with reading threads such as this indicating a guarantee that X mod(s) will be released and we take it in good faith, then when the time comes we are left hanging on a false hope that the process will work. So in short, I appreciate the work being done I'm just, unfortunately, cynical now when I read that X will happen. For this I apologise and don't intentionally write this trying to offend anyone for the efforts that contribute.
