I run a LFR game for the same group of people each week and one of them is interested in joing the Harpers meta-organization.

I want to be able to pick an adventure that will give the player the favor he needs to join the meta-org.

Can anyone give me a list of adventures that gives Harpers favors as a story award? (please make sure to hide them or whatever it's called so you don't spoil them for others)

Oh yeah, the group is only level 2 right now, so any 1-4 (or the new 1-10) range adventures would be the best. Thanks.

The Adapatable mod Scepter Tower of Spellguard (ADAP 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4) is designed for 2nd level characters, but since it's from several years ago, it's a bit rough to run and actually enjoy (there's other threads discussing how to DME it)
In H1 LURU 2-3 Forgotten Crypts Hidden Dangers starts the PCs on a major quest that leads into (but isn't required for) the H2 mod LURU 2-4 Need To Know (which is also related to Spellguard), where the PCs can obtain the Harper Favor ... if they don't die (it's hard, apparently)
In H3, LURU 2-2 Shadows of the Knights, which has some great rewards and is slightly tied to LURU 1-5 Beyond the Wild Frontier (also in H3)

PREQ3-1, I believe, has the required favor as well. I think there are a couple Dalelands adventures as well, but I forget which ones.

The bulk of the Harper favors are in the paragon tier in the Netheril adventures (this is also where PCs who are members are most likely to see a story benefit of the meta-org).

PREQ3-1 will do the trick. If you are planning to run the ELTU adventures, those meta-orgs can also be introduced through PREQ3-1. The Waterdeep and Dalelands orgs are also hanging out in PREQ3-1 - so you could also introduce the Heirs of Mert or Stellar Fellowship.

My advice is this to run these H1 adventures first:
• DALE1-1 (Stellar Fellowship)
• WATE2-4 (Heirs of Mert)
• ELTU3-1 (take 2 sessions, so the PCs can really interact with Dusk Tallons, Lions Den, and Order of Torm)

Then PREQ3-1 has lots of hooks - potentially different for each PC. Have the Harper contact the interested PC individually.

This gives a great overview of where your players are interested in going (they will pay attention to the organizations that interest them) and you can pursue future heroic adventures based on meta-orgs that have grabbed their interest!

Good luck!

Adap 21 or adap22 also provides favor with the sand kings and/or harpers, which comes into play in the neth series.

I'm confused by this. Story award ADAP21 is from ADAP3-4, which is a conversion of a Dungeon adventure that has nothing to do with the Netherese or Harpers (I think). ADAP2-2 The Spiral Gate does have a favor with the Sand Kings, but the story award does not say that it counts as a favor with the Harpers. The two organizations are not one and the same, and story awards with the Sand Kings do not count toward your status with the Harpers in any way.

That is why I said 'and/or' harpers.  The sand king favor does affect the neth mods however.

Indeed they do, but the original poster asked about heroic tier opportunities to join the Harpers, and your answer was phrased in a way that could be read as though the "Sand Kings and/or Harpers" favors counted the same regardless of which organization granted them.

Sorry I was unclear, but my memory was unclear as to what the text of that favor was.  As I was on my phone in the train, that was the best I could do at the moment

Could have been worse -- could have turned into an episode of 'Damn You Autocorrect'.
