As I go along the current Encounters campaign (Lost Crown of Neverwinter) and viewing the Neverwinter Campaign Guide.  I got an idea of continuing the story after the Encounters season with my character:

Stephanie (for LFR, a current L4 Human Bow/Cleric) has discovered her heritage as a Noble of the Neverwinter of Old, but instead of going against the current Lord Protector, Lord Dagut Neverember, she decides to work alongside with him to restore the half-destroyed Jewel to the North to her former glory.  Alongside her adventures, the partnership she has with Neverember becomes romantically involved, which might become a marriage of both convience and passion, but where does the line between the two lie?

At first I thought I'd make a novel from it, in spite of me having several in the works right now, but while I was in an LFR module, I was thinking.  There isn't that many Neverwinter modules in LFR.  I wonder if I could make some.

At this point, I'd like to know how do you go about making LFR modules so I can make this story in a series of playable adventures, if not official modules, at least in the "My Realms" category.  Thank you in advance for any information that will help me with this.  It'll be a great start toward a career of making D&D adventures.

The first advice I would give is to go to www.livingforgottenrealms.com and download the PDFs of MYRE3-1 and MYRE3-2 (which cover heroic and paragon respectively). Also check out Alphastream's guide to writing myres and using dme in the LFR Adventures section of this forum. If you want to submit formal adventures you have to email one of the writing directors for a particular story arc and present your ideas.

I would be careful about such a MYRE - you're talking about making your PC into an NPC for the sake of a mod, and that other NPC is a major WotC NPC who later on might end up in a book marrying someone else or getting killed, etc...

Mods are much easier when the NPCs in them aren't likely to be used elsewhere by WotC or LFR...

As a general rule, we do not use PCs in (offfical) LFR adventures. You can do that in a MYRE, of course, but you do risk runnign into conflicts with future puclicatiosn when you make changes to major NPCs.

I do not expect we will deal with romances involving Lord Neverember in future LFR adventures, but I don't know what WotC plans. They may leave Neverember alone, so as not to invalidate the Neverwinter setting too much, but I wouldn't put coin on it.

I should perhaps also point out that lord Neverember has been married before and has a son. He may not yet be too interested in tying himself down again.

I somehow wondered if that would be a problem, if not turning a PC I have into an NPC, but definitely haveing her interact with established NPCs in the fashion I've originally thought.  Maybe I should wait a while before I try that, to see what happens.

However, I'd still be interested in making some MyRealms projects for practice, so I intend to read the two MYRE files I downloaded.

As for love for the Neverwinter region in general, LFR was asked to not do anything with it until after the Encounters season is over. Once that happens, we might turn are attention to the region and maybe something will come of it.

That's perfectly understandable.  I'll wait for the current season to be over.  Until then, I can still plan some spin-offs for "Lost Crown of Neverwinter," (without the romance angle, of course) and bat a couple ideas around, although no modules until then.

Anything new on this?  I built Hofn (Dwarven Invoker) just for a Neverwinter campaign, and Gondolin needs a vacation after getting clobbered at Myth Nantar last month.  (See my sig.)

We are working on a story arc for Neverwinter.
Can't say yet when the adventures will be out.
