In an old thread I made years ago, someone fished out quotes from one book I think about 'half-dwarves'... yesm there is something like Muls canonicaly in FR. 

A 1e edition FR product about dwarves mention half-dwarves, but gives them the same stats as dwarves. They are just a bit taller.

That was an old edition, even before DS Refluffed if needed, Muls should be good there for me.
