I'm not sure of the status of this theme within Forgotten Realms - does Gloomwrought exist in the setting, and if not, does that render this theme illegal? Flavour-wise it fits my character nicely (with a touch of reflavouring, I'll admit), but mechanically, Mercenary is probably a little better, but I'd prefer the nicer flavour in this instance.

The Emissary is not a Paragon Path, it is a theme.
The stuff from the Gloomwrought box is not a player resource, but since the Emissary theme is from the Dragon #400 article . So once the draft takes effect tomorrow, the theme should be legal.
