So...what do you expect or hope to see in the new update?

These are the three things at the top of my wish list. I don't recall whether any of these have already been announced or completely denied though.

1. A table of contents. When you pass the X page mark it starts to feel like studying for a final exam instead of playing a game...

2. A list of common and rare items. This is simply for convenience and making it easier to help newbies keep track of their rarities. I'd like LFR to freeze their rarity list between CG updates instead of having to remind new recruits to check the errata on a regular basis.

3. A walkthrough section for new LFR DMs. A simple page or two devoted to guiding a new LFR DM step by step through the process of running a LFR game, from downloading the module to running the table to helping out even greener newbies come into the campaign.

Basically I want to see a much more newb friendly CG so that it becomes easier to get fresh blood into the campaign.

I hope to see them change the rule for creating higher level characters to something that doesn't punish you for doing so.

That it's available by October.

You can filter by rarity in the online compendium now, and the rarity filter in the CB mostly works.

That's a good idea, but it doesn't necessarily need to be in the CG itself.

I hope to see additions for themes and meta-orgs, with minimal changes elsewhere.

EDIT: Oh yeah, IBTL.

I killed Aleena.

It'd also be great if new players didn't get smacked in the face with item rarity if no 1st level tables are being offered.

Heh, maybe the forum needs better wards against necromancers who would reanimate dead horses.

I feel bad for poor ol' Susy, enduring such a torturous existence.  Beaten to death and resurrected, beaten to death and resurrected...
