I am in desperate need of two playtest groups to playtest ELTU3-3. I must have the results back no later than June the 6th, which is Monday. So, make sure you can do it on that short notice. The first two players to send an email to lfrpoc@gmail.com will get the opportunity.

I would like to thank all of the playtesters for ELTU3-3. Your feedback helped me greatly, and I hope that you will be more satisfied with the finished product than you were with the beta test.

Beta testing/ playtesting is always a mixed bag. On the one hand, "woot! we're seeing unreleased material!"... and on the other, "Oh man, it's unreleased - and here's why!" :p I love playtesting stuff; being a part of the chain that brings the rough adventure to a more polished final product has always been fun, and just recently I was fortunate enough to be allowed to write an upcoming LFR adventure. The feedback was awesome, my editor/ writing director was a godsend, and I'm hoping to do it again for everyone (so long as I don't get on some wonky black-list or assaulted by jilted players at a convention...). Glad to help, and I pretty much always have a group or two ready to playtest as long as I can get 5-7 days warning.

I know I really appreciated the chance to have an input to things, and I think my players enjoyed what we had in hand.
What makes me sad - no more compiled magazines: http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/27580349/Dungeon_and_Dragon_Magazine_PDFs&post_num=24#495423645

I was happy to volunteer, and I'm glad that the feedback helped you out. It isn't easy to write an adventure to appeal to a bunch of people you've never met, which is why I usually stick to my home game or an occasional MyRealms for folks I know. I'm looking forward to seeing how things have turned out.
