I don't believe so -- from the first post in this thread: "Note that the draft posits an effective date of 01 June 2011; I do not believe that is realistic as we need to synch the final version of this document with the final version of the June update to the LFR Campaign Guide.  So don't get hung up on that date."

Depends - I believe the official title is "Purple Dragon Knights."

I agree that "Defenders of Cormyr" is probably a safer name, though.

Barney's Battalion? "I love you, you love me, lets go kill some Netherese"

You now officially fail at life.

Considering that my PC was more than likely the ONLY Purple Dragon Knight (by Paragon Path) in LFR existance, Knights of Cormyr sounds much better as an official meta-org.

My dragonborn Figther just became one so there are atleast 3 of them in existence. I bet there are some more people who were Lions of Cormyr and became purple dragon knight.

I'd like to know this too as I'm judging events that might be altered by having Meta-Org characters participating.

Edit: I'd say "Bump" but this is a stickied thread.

The next update to the LFR Campaign Guide is now in development and should be out before Origins 2011 in late June.

SO.... with less than 24 hours left till Origins, how close are we to getting these rules posted?

Looks like those in attendance will find out on-site.  Not a big deal, since the Meta-Orgs aren't HUGE mechanical benefits, like Themes.

Why is the LFR Campaign Guide a big deal?
I am not aware of anything that requires an update to the extent that Origins can't possibly run with the current CCG in effect.

Of course, it could very well be I am missing something. In which case I would love to hear what that is so I can make a fully informed decision on wether to join in the clamour for an immediate update.
To DME, or not to DME: that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous powergaming, Or to take arms against a sea of Munchkins, And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;No more;

I guess it's not really a big deal....

As long as players are not going to be expected to make their characters comply with a new CCG rule set if anything major has changed on the spot.

Was thinking that a new rules eratta came out with the CCG...... I'm probably wrong though
