Since WotC is releasing convention adventures (Siege of Gardmore Abbey, YAY!) and Encounter seasons (in February they will deliver season 7 "Beyond the Crystal Cave") in Dungeon, perhaps its good time for someone to talk them into releasing ADCP2-1 for home play, since its nearly the beginning of the Elturgard saga (and they already released some ADCPs in the archive for home play as well)? Edit: added clarification about requesting release of ADCP2-1 for home play.

Sorry, i meant for HOME play, like the ones in the archive.
I had that in the first post i wrote, but a browser crash forced me to rewrite and forgot that important point (editing the post now).

Adventures with the code ADCP are restricted to public events only (such as conventions, game days, and retail store events); they are not sanctioned for private (home) play. None of them are and given that to play them as written, you need multiple tables, I don't see that changing.

The current page states: "Coming soon: CORE5-3 Lost Refuge (set in and around Baldur's Gate)"
Is this CORE5-3 the renamed BALD3-1 (which itself was a redevelopment of BALD1-5 and BALD2-1)?
(For the record, i prefer that numbering instead of BALD3-1).
What happened to "CORE 5-3 Lost in Wonder", theres going to be a renumbering?

Is this CORE5-3 the renamed BALD3-1 (which itself was a redevelopment of BALD1-5 and BALD2-1)?
Partially. CORE5-3 is basically BALD1-5 (with some updated story elements and the combat encounters completely reworked for the Paragon tier; the original BALD1-5 was for the H3 level band, while the original BALD2-1 was for the P1 level band, so the plot was originally intended to help characters make the transition from Heroic to Paragon anyway).
The "BALD3-1" idea was to combine BALD1-5 and BALD2-1 into a single adventure, which would have been multiple rounds (at least two, possibly three). That idea didn't pan out, but the underlying plot idea turned out to link up very well with some other things that we are working on for this year.
At the same time, I was worried that my original CORE5-3 ("Lost in Wonder") was going to cause problems for the Winter Fantasy DMs because of a particular encounter that just didn't feel like it was working right (and that encounter is crucial to the adventure).
So, I pulled out BALD1-5 (which has been worked on in various forms by several authors over the years, but nobody ever got it to the finish line), folded in the changes that were needed to update the plot for our future needs, and that premiered at Winter Fantasy as CORE5-3 (a one-round adventure).
The new CORE5-3 "Lost Refuge" is the first part of a Major Quest. The other two parts include the material that was originally intended for BALD2-1 as well as a mix of unreleased and new material set in the Moonshaes. Numbering TBD, but possibly CORE5-4 (part 2) and CORE5-5 (part 3) to at least suggest the proper sequencing. The events of this Major Quest will tie back into the ongoing events of the Paragon tier side of the Desolation series.
What happened to "CORE 5-3 Lost in Wonder", theres going to be a renumbering?
Yes. "Lost in Wonder" will be CORE5-X (probably either 5-4 or 5-6) depending on what we end up doing with the sequencing of the adventures described above.
Talk to you later --

Thank you vey much for such a thorough explanation, really appreciate it.
A couple follow-up questions:
- what is the blurb for CORE5-3 "Lost Refuge"?
- BALD1-5 and BALD2-1, along with MOON 1-5 (the only published adventure) were also supposed to be part of a Major Quest, called "FEY GATES OF THE SEA OF SWORDS" (the only major quest that was supposed to come out of the BALD series); does the new Major Quest retain the name or has been renamed to better reflect the changes? Does it still have any connection with MOON1-5?

Has "Lost in Wonder" suffered changes as well to fit into the new Major Quest? Is the blurb previously given still valid?
