Here's what I am told. The site is currently undergoing some behind the scenes work, but as part of that in the next few days we will see the entire backlog (listed below) of things that are finished, posted to the site. This includes:
Also waiting to hear anything about the supposed Abolethic Sovereignty region, and the Neverwinter region.
I'm going to call again for a "State of LFR" post from the admin team.

The Neverwinter region is delayed. It isn't in edit yet. I didn't receive all scenarios yet from the authors. I have not been whipping them properly so that is mostly due to my lack of attention.
The Giants series adaptables have been submitted months ago though. They should be available soon.

I'm waiting for the updated rules before I personally change it to an exclamation mark. But 4 releases in 2 days does give me hope.
And the spurt is over (no releases in ~3 days) without the Campaign Guide or Meta-org guide getting updated.
ADAP4-2 "Stick in the Mud" and ADAP4-4 "Warrens of the Stone Giant Thane" have just been uploaded.

I have rough outlines going currently for my ABSO module, Hopefully I should be somewhere around a playtest version by Dec / January, and go from there. Its sort of hard running your own business and getting stuff out, Alan Patrick is a beast at it, and I'm not so beastly. Thanks for asking, we are working on it. Just real life, and paying bills over "free" lance writing you know ^_^
ELTU 4-2 / 4-3 are almost out though ! Yay Skerrit for helping make it happen!

INTR4-1 Born Every Minute The Mooney & Sons Circus has delighted audiences young and old alike for years, spreading wonder and delight throughout Vesperin. This year, however, the traveling carnival has experienced some troubles at its performances. The mayor of the next town on the schedule fears that his citizens might be in danger, so he asks a group of promising neophyte adventurers to investigate. A Living Forgotten RealmsIntroductory adventure for level 1 characters.
This adventure is designed to be playable on its own in a two-hour game session. It can also be combined with INTR4‒2 This Way to the Egress to form a standard four-hour adventure. Unlike a normal AL 2 LFR adventure, this Introductory adventure can only be played by level 1 characters. The players are free to create new characters, to bring existing LFR characters who have not yet reached 2nd level, or to use the pre-generated characters available for download from livingforgottenrealms.com.

On an unrelated note, what is the point of the INTRO adventures (at this time of the program and 4th Ed in general)? What originated them? Shouldnt the resources assigned to them be better spent on the backlog?

I am a teacher at a school and would love to use the intro adventures to teach new players 4th edition. This editionof the game is by far not over yet. I say release more of them.

Not saying it is, dont get me wrong, just that there is a big backlog (and wishlog) for LFR specific adventures, and these releases just leave me wondering if its squandering resources that could be used elsewhere.

Different people, different resources. Besides, that adventure is part of the backlog. It was written months ago, and it was written by request from a couple of influential con organizers among others.

From a convention perspective I understand why some intro modules have been written. I played and ran modules at three regional conventions this year. Scenario 1-The heroic table wants to play a higher level but someone who hasn't played before running an 8th level pregen probably won't have much fun and will slow the game for everyone else. Scenario 2-A player with no 4th ed. Experience signs up for part 2 of Returned Abeir trilogy because there is an empty seat and thry want to give it a try. Part 1 was played at AL 18 that morning by the rest of the table. Tried to accomodate her with a spare level 18 character but she realized during the jungle trek skill challenge it wasn't for her. With no "H1" modules being written we do need something for new/dilettante players to try that is only for low level characters. Dungeon delves used to cover that but at our cons that table was desolate and abandoned with a bored GM. Even at this late stage in LFR's life new people are still appearing and we want them to have a good experience. Otherwise all small convention mods (1 table per adventure) will be run at AL 2/4 or 12/14 because of one or two rookies.

CORE4-4 "Shadow Siege" is now available for download from livingforgottenrealms.com! This Heroic tier adventure is another part of Chapter 1 of the Desolation series and gives PCs another opportunity to assist the people of Urmlaspyr against deadly threats from the Shadowfell. For those keeping score at home, we have now released 13 adventures to the website in October, four of which had not previously been announced. We are continuing to work on the backlog and still expect to release the remaining four adventures (AGLA2-4, INTRO4-1, ADAP4-5, and ADAP4-6) by the end of October. Spread the word!

We are making progress with WATE3-2 although slower than I would like. I completed "restructuring" the adventure based upon the playtest feedback, got rid of a skill challenge that did not work well and replaced it with a combat challenge. Claire helped by creating a set of stat blocks and currently we are filling in on missing "talking points" which NPCs may have for chatting with PCs, and background information or knowledge the DM needs on various encounters. I think the story works much better now.
WATE3-3 is waiting us getting WATE3-2 to a final playtest.
My real life job is still chewing up a lot of my time.

So is Epic 5-1 scheduled for release at Winter Fantasy in January 2013? What about Epic 4-3?
Just trying to plan out my convention travel in the next couple of months, and the Epic would be a major draw for Fort Wayne (as in previous years)...at least for me and my core group of gaming friends (part of the Epic 'table').
Any status updates on either of these modules would be appreciated!

Epic5-1 will be at DDXP. Anyone thinking of judging it, it's on the judge signup page now!
Epic4-3 is completing its last playtests today. Look for it in December. As with Epic3-3, I do apologize for the less than two months between the two adventures, and hope people can make plans to arrange playtime.

At this point, Alga2-4 is so old, that it really ought to be referred to via old english.
"Aglarond 2-4, what be-ith thy status?" Something like that?

Yes, it's a good time for the monthly reminder to update the lfr page to change the release of the documents in November, to December. We'll be back around December 28 to remind again.

- ELTU4-3 and ELTU4-4 (to antecipate the ELTU focus, with SPEC 5-1, SPEC 5-2 and the BI) - CORE4-5 (Heroic Tier Desolation series ends in WF 2013, with CORE 5-1) - EPIC4-3 (for EPIC 5-1 running in WF2013) - AGLA2-4 (?) - EDIT: forgot the docs, CG v2.5 and the Meta-Org Guide.
until then.
Considering that there are no slots for the INTR adventures, where it could make sense, and given the big number of adventures being worked on (10! + BI) with the WF 2013 deadline, on a known busy time, im inclined to predict that both INTR and ADAP adventures (and dare i say AGLA2-4 and the docs) will be bumped to February as earliest, given their lower priority (although AGLA2-4 is getting to be a sad joke).
[Edited for clarification and final update on ELTU4-4 name status]

Should the status be changed to cancelled?

I hope it will be able to be posted soon, myself. Since 5-1 is the start of a new season it's at least slightly more acceptable to play them out of order, but...
Anyone trying to get a group together for epic4-3 before DDXP, feel free to PM me with when you intend to play and an email address (preferably of the coordinator or judge, in case I need to mail the adventure). At least that way I have a list in case we need to resort to other options.

Are any details available, like level band (high paragon?), whether it's a two-round module, etc.?

I'd infer, based on it saying so twice, that it's for levels 17-20. If you're putting it into the wiki, it's Dan not "n" - I was just copy-pasting from the event posting.

We have tentative plans to run CORE4-5 on January 6, ELTU4-3 on January 9, and ELTU4-4 on January 16. Is it reasonable to expect the mods to be released before those dates? I am more anxious to get CORE4-5 than the other two, as I can prep the other two closer to last minute, but we have another DM running CORE4-5 and I'd like to give him more time to prep. If CORE4-5 is not released before Jan 1st, is there any chance I could get my hands on a pre-finalized version?

The release date for AGLA2-4 should be updated as well.....
One glitch in the site:AGLA2-3 appears with a January 2012 release, when it was released already, and the file is available to download (just missing the proper link). The release date for AGLA2-4 should be updated as well.....
The final sentence of the blurb for AGLA2-3 probably needs revising. It reads: "This adventure is the second part of the Invisible Road Major Quest, which began in AGLA1-5 Silver Lining and will conclude with a Heroic tier adventure during campaign year 4." At this juncture, it seems quite unlikely that such an adventure will be published this year.

In other news, EPIC4-3 is posted so I'm not going to e-mail anyone the adventure anymore; also, if you played it before now please download the awards, verify treasure bundles, and (tomorrow or later-ish) fill out the event summary so we can improve future epics.

I'll admit we do a little bit of time travel here in LFR. I mean, EPIC5-1 actually references (in non-spoilery ways) some of the things that happen in QUES4-1.

I hate to bug again but... What is the status of ELTU4-3 and ELTU4-4? I have our group scheduled to play ELTU4-3 this Wednesday (got the adventure from the author, but supposedly a few things have changed from that version, just want to make sure it's nothing big), and ELTU4-4 next Wednesday. Will it be out before then, considering the week after that is Winter Fantasy? If not, any chance I can get my hands on ELTU4-4 before then?
Also, random (and probably pointless) question/observation/whine, if these mods were going to be released this close to WF, why aren't they being offered at WF? I'd love to have been able to play a character through ELTU4-3, ELTU4-4, ELTU SPEC's and ELTU BI at WF, akin to what we did visiting Calimshan at Origins. Instead we're offered random unrelated paragon CORE mods, that have nothing to do with the SPEC's and BI, which would have been fine if released after WF.

I can't speak for adventure selection decisions at WF, but I can say that Origins 2012 adventures (CALI, SPEC, and ADCP) had the "unique" advantage of being playable in any order. This allowed very flexible scheduling of adventures throughout the weekend, before and after the BI.
If a set of adventures is strongly recommended to be played in order, then convneiton scheduling becomes much more difficult. (i.e. "You need to play all of these adventures in order at WF before the BI." really limits the schedule, and doesn't leave much to play on Sunday morning.)

ELTU4-3 is finished, but Sean had to attend a funeral (otherwise it would have been available already). Don't hesitate to send me a private E-mail (for the record: I am Pieter Sleijpen, one of the globals, my contact info can be found in the group wiki) and I can mail you the adventure. I don't know the status of ELTU4-4.
The reason for why it is not like CALI at Origins, that has to do with promises made long before it was decided to make ELTU the focus of the BI in regards to the nature of the three cores. In the original schedule the ELTU adventures should have been available ages ago, but there were some hurdles that resulted in a complete rearrangement of the schedule. Rearranging adventures (especially BIs) for a big convention like Winter Fantasy take months and hence was not an option. So all we can do is appologize and try to make it is an unproblematic as possible that people play the adventures out of order.

Since WotC is releasing convention adventures (Siege of Gardmore Abbey, YAY!) and Encounter seasons (in February they will deliver season 7 "Beyond the Crystal Cave") in Dungeon, perhaps its good time for someone to talk them into releasing ADCP2-1 for home play, since its nearly the beginning of the Elturgard saga (and they already released some ADCPs in the archive for home play as well)?
Edit: added clarification about requesting release of ADCP2-1 for home play.

Adventures with the code ADCP are restricted to public events only (such as conventions, game days, and retail store events); they are not sanctioned for private (home) play. None of them are and given that to play them as written, you need multiple tables, I don't see that changing.

Is this CORE5-3 the renamed BALD3-1 (which itself was a redevelopment of BALD1-5 and BALD2-1)?
Partially. CORE5-3 is basically BALD1-5 (with some updated story elements and the combat encounters completely reworked for the Paragon tier; the original BALD1-5 was for the H3 level band, while the original BALD2-1 was for the P1 level band, so the plot was originally intended to help characters make the transition from Heroic to Paragon anyway).
The "BALD3-1" idea was to combine BALD1-5 and BALD2-1 into a single adventure, which would have been multiple rounds (at least two, possibly three). That idea didn't pan out, but the underlying plot idea turned out to link up very well with some other things that we are working on for this year.
At the same time, I was worried that my original CORE5-3 ("Lost in Wonder") was going to cause problems for the Winter Fantasy DMs because of a particular encounter that just didn't feel like it was working right (and that encounter is crucial to the adventure).
So, I pulled out BALD1-5 (which has been worked on in various forms by several authors over the years, but nobody ever got it to the finish line), folded in the changes that were needed to update the plot for our future needs, and that premiered at Winter Fantasy as CORE5-3 (a one-round adventure).
The new CORE5-3 "Lost Refuge" is the first part of a Major Quest. The other two parts include the material that was originally intended for BALD2-1 as well as a mix of unreleased and new material set in the Moonshaes. Numbering TBD, but possibly CORE5-4 (part 2) and CORE5-5 (part 3) to at least suggest the proper sequencing. The events of this Major Quest will tie back into the ongoing events of the Paragon tier side of the Desolation series.
What happened to "CORE 5-3 Lost in Wonder", theres going to be a renumbering?
Yes. "Lost in Wonder" will be CORE5-X (probably either 5-4 or 5-6) depending on what we end up doing with the sequencing of the adventures described above.

CORE5-3 is basically BALD1-5 (with some updated story elements and the combat encounters completely reworked for the Paragon tier [...] The new CORE5-3 "Lost Refuge" is the first part of a Major Quest.
Thank you vey much for such a thorough explanation, really appreciate it.
A couple follow-up questions:
- what is the blurb for CORE5-3 "Lost Refuge"?
- BALD1-5 and BALD2-1, along with MOON 1-5 (the only published adventure) were also supposed to be part of a Major Quest, called "FEY GATES OF THE SEA OF SWORDS" (the only major quest that was supposed to come out of the BALD series); does the new Major Quest retain the name or has been renamed to better reflect the changes? Does it still have any connection with MOON1-5?
What happened to "CORE 5-3 Lost in Wonder", theres going to be a renumbering?
Yes. "Lost in Wonder" will be CORE5-X (probably either 5-4 or 5-6) depending on what we end up doing with the sequencing of the adventures described above.
Has "Lost in Wonder" suffered changes as well to fit into the new Major Quest? Is the blurb previously given still valid?

What's the latest with WATE3-2 and WATE3-3? My Bard is anxious to resolve this plot and save Waterdeep once again.
Also, did QUES4-1 make it to it's debut at TotalCon?

We ran a slot-0 version of QUES4-1. The final version should be posted for general release by the end of the week.
Excellent. I'm looking forward to finishing out Calimshan.

I am looking for a download for all the mods that have been released so far, does one exist in an archive, I have downloaded the archive from the adventure downloads page, but there are mods missing from that archive, where are the rest of the mods?

There is no single comprehensive archive of all LFR adventures. You will have to get them one by one from that index.

Our group has been having a blast with the giant series and we just finished ADAP4-4 Warrens of the Stone Giant Thane.
Are the remaining 2 giant adaptables going to be released any time soon?

AGLA2-4 is the "latest." It's been in the backlog the longest.
Oh, you said "ON" not "OF" ... my mistake.
Considering the former names of CORE5-3, being BALD1-5 then BALD3-1, I think it may have been in the backlog the longest. However, it debuted at WF two months ago so it should be out now. Hopefully we don't have a CALI3-4 situation with it, where we have to wait the better part of a year for its actual release after its convention debut.

I am interested in getting it published still. I was asked to lower the level range to 15-20 and review it, but I have not received it for review as of yet.
Drop me a line if you have played it, so many things have changed since I wrote it, I am not sure if it is a challenge or hysterically easy. I think the story line will hold up, but all things considered, I wish I had never written it.

Yes, I knew all that - it was 2 months ago (to the day, by coincidence!). Hoping to see some movement on it.
See Sean Molley's post from a few weeks ago:community.wizards.com/lfr/go/thread/view...[/quote]Yes, I knew all that - it was 2 months ago (to the day, by coincidence!). Hoping to see some movement on it.

I've been hoping to see some movement on it, myself. Or at least find out if it can be distributed by email, if getting it on the website is not possible at this time. It debuted two months ago at WF, so it should be available for general public play, now.

We have scheduled to run the two intro mods at Comicpalooz in Houston in three weeks...any idea if they'll be available, or where one might could acquire them currently?
Thanks much.

"I got rerouted by the hurricane (or whatever they're calling it, now that it isn't officially a hurricane anymore which put me behind this week. I'll get a couple more of the backlog adventures uploaded tonight, but I'm going to bleed into Thursday/Friday and probably the weekend to get to 100% completed, including the campaign rules documents. I'll put up a blog post about this when I upload the next adventure, but I wanted to let you guys know since I'm sure there will be the usual eagle-eyed people on the forums posting at 12:01 AM November 1st."
Thanks for the update! Hurricanes do take priority, and I appreciate the transparency.
Edit: And I waited several hours...
I don't think it's transparency if it happens only when there's a convenient excuse at hand. The globals were quick to seize on the hurricane when they missed the November deadline (with bonus snark directed toward those who still believed the dates meant something) but in the six(!!) months since, without anyone or anything else to blame, it's been dead silence.
That's pretty much the exact opposite of transparency.

Just a little prod about missing mods/waiting on mods to be posted. I realize that Origins is coming up and that is your primary focus however is there anything we - the plebians - can do to speed up the process to get mods - such as the Giant series ADAPs - that are long overdue to get posted in the www.livingforgottenrealms.com site? If they're not posted, is there any way to know what the story awards are? Thanks!

The honest answer is that you are correct - everyone is devoting every available minute to getting things together for Origins. I know the Giants series and other adventures are very close to completion (because I offered to help with them, and there's nothing else I can do to help them along), but barring an unexected turn of events, I wouldn't expect to see anything posted until after Origins.
