FOPCON 2010

24 April 2010

Huber Heights, Ohio

FOPCON is a gaming convention sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police, Captain John C. Post Lodge 44 located at 4275 Powell Rd. Huber Heights, Ohio.  The lodge has a kitchen that serves hamburgers and hotdogs for reasonable price. See their website at fopcon.com. Also, they are using warhorn.net/fopcon2010/ for preregistration for adventures.  Lots of games in addition to LFR.

Saturday, May 29 will be the first-ever LFR session hosted at Armored Ogre Games in Inver Grove Heights, MN.

Address and game schedule are available on warhorn.net - look for 'D&D Encounters & LFR @ Armored Ogre Games' under the 'Upcoming Events' link, behind the 'Recurring Game Days' curtain.

So, I just got into 4th E after years of putting it off. To my chagrin and horror, my favorite game store in the univers, Games Plus, in Mount Prospect Illinois, isn't running LFR.

So, after I can get my DCI# snag fixed, I plan on rectifying that.

Any tips, tricks, or good advice for a GM starting out with LFR?

Additionally: Dean's Dugout, in Naperville, Illinois is also starting up a LFR game.

I am looking in the North East Kansas area for LFR.  Anyone else around here looking to start a group?
