As the article states, the introduction of these themes in a campaign can have significant consequences and the DM should seriously consider this aspect before allowing the themes into their campaign. Having looked at the themes and considered feedback from various sources the LFR Global Administrators have come to a decision regarding these themes.

Dan Anderson, the Writing Director of Calimshan, is developing a wonderful slate of adventures for Origins this year. In support of that, Lori Anderson has provided us with a glimpse of what happens before the PCs are gathered together.

The WeavePahsa of Almraiven stares intently at the map of Calimshan spread before him. A knock at the door interrupts his thoughts. He straightens his robe embroidered with arcane runes and, rising to his feet, invites the visitor into his office....

It's been a busy start to the year for the Living Forgotten Realms campaign, with all the work leading up to the Dungeons & Dragons Experience 2012 and then the excitement of the convention itself. Although there has been a lot of big news lately regarding the next iteration of D&D, for LFR it's business as usual. We remain a 4th Edition D&D campaign and have not changed anything about our plans for the rest of calendar year 2012. I'm sure we'll have more to say about "D&D Next" and its anticipated impact on Organized Play in general and LFR in particular at some point,...

Happy new year from the Living Forgotten Realms campaign staff! Today we round out our trilogy of LFR adaptations of Neverwinter Campaign Setting adventures from Dungeon online, and bring a Heroic tier Major Quest from Tymanther to its thrilling conclusion.

We are pleased to announce the availability of three new Living Forgotten Realms adventures; there's something new to play at each of the three tiers. LFR produced 109 adventures in the first 18 months of the campaign. Most of those adventures have a retirement date of Dec 31st of this year. That is a lot of adventures to retire at one time. Therefore we have decided to retire the Year One adventures in two waves.
The first wave includes all regional adventures with the code 1-1, 1-2 or 1-3, CORE adventures 1-1 through 1-9, and SPEC1-1 and SPEC1-2. These adventures retire Feb 29, 2012.
The second wave includes SPEC1-3 (all tiers), MINI1-1 through 1-6, QUES1-1, ADCP01, CORE1-10 through CORE1-17 and all regional...

Today we are pleased to announce that we have released our second LFR adapted adventure set in Neverwinter from Dungeon online. Thanks for the flattering intro Sean. I am looking forward to the dealing with the challenges and opportunities of being an LFR Global Admin.
The first challenge is getting the Excursion program up and running.

For this first open call: Those interested should send an e-mail to me at LFRClaire@aol.com with the subject Prospective Author. The e-mail should include the following information:
