Into the normal things gamers are into. Computers, PS3, Beards, Tea (sweet or hot), Quality Anime, Decent Films, Classic Rock, Metal, and of Course the occasional Southern Rock and Rap.
Movies:
Looking at my wall, my prefered genres tend to be; Zombies, Post-Apoc, Sci-fi, Kung-fu, and Fantasy.
Top hits include Hellboy, Crank, Afro Samurai, Big Lebowski, Black Snake Moan, Darjeeling Ltd, Life Aquatic, LoTR, Escape from __, Ong-Bak, Star Wars (all of em), Riddick, Hannible
TV Shows:
Not too into TV, I do enjoy a few shows though.
Clone Wars, the Tick, Samurai Champloo, The Boondocks, Aqua Teen, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Metaloclypse, Venture Bros off the top of my head.
Books, Comics and Graphic Novels:
Well these should be 2 different catagories...
Books- I have recently been really into Lovecraft, and have read most of his work. Also a fan of Jules Vern and H.G. Wells. Orwell is nice. Obligatory Tolkien. I tend to prefer older authors and I think it has to do with the "I write so i can get a movie deal" mentality of modern writers. Comics, I follow marvel and a few independent ones. I can't get into DC aside from Batman. Mostly follow X-men (various) hulk, and recently the avengers (various).
Music:
Led Zep, Gorgoroth, Jack White (anything), Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Old Metallica, Rob Zombie, Arch Enemy, The Orb, Otyg, Buckhead (most, not too into colma, Thanatopsis, Wu Tang
Hobbies:
Game Design, Pen + Paper RPGs, RTS computer games, Shooter computer games, Board Games, 3rd person action games on ps3. Fighting games on PS3.
Likes:
Well thought opinions on something. I don't care if I agree, but you better have thought your opinion out more than "Thats what ____ news said this morning." As a conservative, that blank isn't always Fox. Often times it is.
Dislikes:
Contradictions. Absolutists.
As someone with a real history degree, I can't stand historically accurate movies, or attempts at including it in RPGs. Mostly because it never is.
