Disclaimer: This is just a summary of what happened, so my players and myself have easy access. I'll put it into story form when I find the time. Session StartLeaving the rubble of broken statues behind, the group follows the hallway behind the southern door. Quite suddenly the neatly paved stones of the temple complex come to an end. Just beyond a patch of rubble on the floor is an opening in the east wall, leading towards a cavern. Wary of traps, Myzaid blows some of the rubble aside, only to reveal a dirt underground. Cautiously Sirad steps onto the rubble, but nothing happens. Convinced the way is safe, the group enters the cave. As Myzaid lights a sunrod to dismiss the darkness, she notices three foggy clouds hanging stationary within the cave. Glittering with the colours of ...

Disclaimer: This is just a summary of what happened, so my players and myself have easy access. I'll put it into story form when I find the time. Session StartCombat continues from where we left off. Sirad was finally able to pull a skeleton out of the fire, and its destruction followed shortly. The party now only has one skeleton left to deal with, which cannot stand up to the violence unleashed upon it. Not one to take half measures, Tani starts flailing away at the altar. As the others join in, it is efficiently reduced to a pile of bones. Combat EndsAmidst the rubble of the altar-that-was, Tani spots a bone cup. A brief discussion between Bursh and Sirad results in a concensus, it's Tembo bone. Thinking it might be something Karlen will be interested in, Tani decides to take ...

Disclaimer: This is just a summary of what happened, so my players and myself have easy access. I'll put it into story form when I find the time. Session StartUsing a key they found on the dead Hejkin leader's body, the party unlocks the door. Behind it is a single corridor, ending in another door. Mindful of traps they carefully move towards the far end. Using the key a second time to unlock the door, they see a chamber before them. Towards the far end, stands an altar constructed entirely out of bones. At both the left and the right end is another door. In the each of the four cornors a large brazier burns. When Tani boldly steps into the room to inspect the altar, several zombies crawl from underneath the alter. In two of the braziers, burning skeletons appear. Combat: Dust Cult...

Disclaimer: This is just a summary of what happened, so my players and myself have easy access. I'll put it into story form when I find the time. Sessions Start, Combat: Hejkin LairAs Tik-Krik bursts into the cave, he notices a single Hejkin standing towards the side near a gong. Hoping to prevent the creature from striking it, he quickly closes, but to no avail. The Hejkin soundly strikes the gong, and engages Tik-Krik. Meanwhile, the rest of the group move into the cave towards the other Hejkin. Myzaid, who has lagging behind a bit, is surprised when out of the wall next to her emerges a crustacean-like creature. Dazing it and quickly moving away, she leaves an opening for Sirad and Akmenos to tackle the beast. As the Warden and Warlord struggle with the beast, Tani moves towards ...

After finishing off the two human raiders, the party turns its attention to the Tareks. Near the edge of the dust storm, Sirad engages one, while the others focus their might on the others. Meanwhile, some of the minions drag the helpless drivers towards the storm and toss them in. Tani quickly finishes off two of the Tareks leaving the last to be overwhelmed by the party. Meanwhile Sirad moves in to block the minions path, and manages to save four of the drivers. Combat Ends

Session StartCombat continues from where we left off. Burshj conjured forth a spirit of Athas near the spiders and Sirad and Tani to give them some extra protection. As both spiders got back on their feet, one used his body to reflect some more of the suns rays, pushing Sirad back a bit. Tani, however, was unaffected by the spider's attempt to blind him. The other spider bit Sirad, poisoning him.

Session StartThe session started right where session 1 left off, at the end of combat. The group quickly riffled through their ambushers' belongings, finding mostly clubs, but also a sack of 400 silver coins, each stamped with the sigil of a roaring lion, upon the bearded man's body, as well as an amulet with the same roaring lion symbol. Akmenos immediately recognized the symbol, and a brief look towards Myzaid confirmed that she also knows its origin, Urik. They quickly came to the conclusion that the bearded man must have been one of Hamanu's Templars. Tani remembered stories from his gladiator days about the Urikite army, and how it contains elite strike teams made up of Half-Giants and Halflings. Adding up all this information, the PCs concluded that the Lion God, as Hamanu is also ...

The CastThe characters already know each other from two previous excursions (Sand Raiders story in the back of the DSCS, and a small story I made up myself), but I'll present them here so you, the reader, also know the cast. Akmenos Tiefling Warlord Session StartThe first session was, as it should be, introductory. The last week had been unusually hot, even when judged by Athasian standards. Toothcutters' activity had also seen a slight decline, thanks to the PCs eliminating a key cell led by an Id Fiend, but had by no means disappeared. The Elven band of thieves were still the biggest players in the Warrens of Tyr, even though word had reached Tani ... |
