Woot!  Finally got accepted to a local group right here on the Wizards community pages!

Hopefully I get some response from people interested in gaming.

The hunt for a gaming group continues.

Hi, I'm Tim and I am a DM!  Yeah!  wee... yea...  With no group.  Often it's the other way around, couple players but no DM; so here I am at the opposite end.  All geared up to send adventurers into peril and doom yet with nobody to send off to get the sword of +3 Ogre slaying.

It is largely to due with location.  Central california is, demographically, perfect for gaming.  Lots of geeks around and lots of people buying geek things.  However, it's prying them away from their MMORPG's and X-Box live and bringing them to a central place for some quality dice rolling that is a problem.

It seems social internet gaming is the slow death for Pen and Paper.  Many of us thought consoles or PC would bring about the death blow, but we gamers kept on rolling our dice.  But now the social network gamers, the slow poison, is seeping into our community and killing our young before they have a chance to discover the awesome versatility of a good Pen and Paper game.
