Kawaii summoned her divine wings and flew up to an upper balcony. Seeing her do this, Lenwe ran back across the cathedral, shooting a few loitering Legion Devils as he went. As shadowy assassins sprang forth on the upper levels, Kawaii could claim that it was insight rather than cowardice that had seen her fly away, but she was too busy dueling one of them while the second threw a shadowy net down onto the three remaining members of The Order, keeping them restrained.
Undaunted by this, and shouting out commands to kill all that opposed them, Ralveron used his fey powers to carry himself and Shibboleth into the fray to slice up more of the devils.

However, before Arthur could unleash his own brand of teleporting mayhem, a pair of winged cambions pounced on him to pin him down, while war devils lumbered into the fray.

That's when Arthur got mad.

The human valiantly fended off the onslaught of the majority of the devils, while Lenwe picked off stragglers at the edges of the combat - keeping one of the war devils pinned down - Ralvereon unleashed his fey fury and Shibboleth fought toe to toe with Dispater himself.

And Kawaii?

She was still facing off against a single assassin.
Despite his gigantic stature, Arthur was repeatedly laid low by the devils, and Shibboleth fell by his side. Ralvereon revived them, and a combination of divine magic and canny battle lore kept the trio fighting long enough for Lenwe and Kawaii to extricate themselves and join the main battle.
With most of his comrades dead, and having just suffered from Shibboleth's divine Command forcing him to grovel, Dispater started playing less fair. He seized control of Lenwe's mind, and had the ranger bring his bow to bear on the nearly fully exhausted Red Order...

To be continued..!
