This group is here to serve anyone interested in Magic - but we will be posting information about Organized Play that is going on in the Midwest United States, as well as information about our store.
Pastimes is one of the United States' oldest comics & games stores. Established in 1992 Pastimes has been serving the Midwest’s comics, cards and games customer with one of the largest selections to be found for collectible card games, board games, comics & trade paperbacks.
Our dedication to customer service, a wide selection and deep inventory sets us apart from many other stores. In addition, our desire to offer play space and events on a regular basis make Pastimes a great place to hang out.
Our knowledgeable staff can help – whether you are looking for assistance in putting together a new deck concept, or aiding your search for the perfect comic to read over lunch – we are here to be that resource.
In addition to our in-store inventory, Pastimes offers a wide selection of products for sale when we are out an event – or on our on-line store. There are literally thousands of items to choose from – and more being added all the time.
Pastimes also organizes many hundreds of events each year –in our store, at local venues or when we are helping at a convention. We have run some of the largest events in the country for Magic The Gathering, YuGiOh! as well as other games. If you have been to GenCon or Wizard World Chicago, you are sure to have seen us! Over the past five years there have been over 100,000 entries into Pastimes events!! We hope we have been able to meet and help you at an event as well. Our commitment to offering you something to do with your games – and bringing gamers together – is one of the cornerstones we pride ourselves on.
