Another blog post while the game is on a bit of a hiatus.  One of the players is an artist, and is kicking around with character sketches of the party, which makes me ridiculously happy.   Here's his half-elf ardent.

Honestly, I know I'm being all snarky in the blog post, but really, I don't think it was a bad session at all. The players seemed to enjoy themselves, and for the first skill challenge I've ever written, I think it went decently. It's certainly the first skill challenge at least we've played and not completely hated.

Even though we started this adventure path years ago, things got a bit sidetracked (kids, etc), and we've just recently picked it up again.  One of the big things I've also started doing with it is updating the various monsters to use the MM3 damage expressions, and other combat tweaks in order to try and streamline things a bit.
