      While I personally think that the 1st and 2nd edition covers are the best (and I admit, I may be biased to those editions), I think that the 4th edition cover is one that if you covered up the D&D name I would have thought Dungeons & Dragons the minute that I saw the artwork.

      Player vs Player is a very huge and serious subject in D&D and Pen&Papers in general, and this "punny" article does it no good. True, PvP is not for a beginner DM to manage. A good DM can do miracles in his storylines with some in-depth PvP and party splits. Back in 3rd edition I had run huge campaigns with about 10 players split in multiple parties, in which pvp was core. My players loved it. And I loved it.

      Something like this is actually important as characters begin to mature and fall into their routines. Like in management, rote actions cause a group to become stale and uninspired. The traditional roles for each player seems to drain the fun out of it. However developing a little internal conflict make people re-think ways of acting and can introduce a new creativity that may have gone lacking.
