Oh, by the way, didn't mention this before, I don't think, but my system will have an open gaming license (akin to what was seen with 3.0 and 3.5). So even if it does go to publish, if Wizards is interested, they can take inspiration from it (as long as they don't make my book unnessesary).... though if they want to use my system at all and not have my book still be needed, they can hit me up about using my system under a different license ^_^
I was actually posting about this recently somewhere. I think I sent it to whomever the owner of the blogs area ws but. I think the ability to craft weapons and magical items...maybe even find the ingredients and insanly hard to find legandary stuff needed for artifacts etc. But be super difficult to make it. So have a Suppliment book that handles all that while normal character who take craft skills can make simple or mid level items like a alchemists pouch.

I wasn't planning on a full supplement book anytime soon (although sometime in the distant future maybe)... but on the flip side, I'm planning to have an open-license with my books when I publish, so if someone else wants to make such a supplemental, more power to 'em. ;)
Fyi, it's one of my older pictures, but I wanted to use a picture that had that sword in it (which is just a display sword, no edge, not a real weapon... used it because it's prettier than my real ones and has sentimental value. I can't get it for a more up-to-date picture though as that sword is currently in storage.)

To put it shortly, my system focuses more on avoiding damage rather than how much damage you can take, which is fairly realistic. I mean who is going to get hit by a battle axe and then turn around and keep fighting? Generally, if you survive a hit, you're probably going to want to run. My system feels less like Conan the Barbarian or Terminator, and more like the Matrix, Equilibrium, or 300. Death comes swiftly, it's a question of how much can you get out of the way.
