The Story of the Eternals

When Emira was young and after the Dawn War between the Gods and the Primodials, beings of pure elements walked the land that was to become Stohana. For thousands of years they lived in peace until a time when other creatures started to appear. Creatures like Humans and Dwarves, Gnomes and Pixies. At first the Elementals welcomed the new races, helping them to create small villages and tribes and teaching them of the land. But as time moved on these creatures started to worship the Elementals as gods. While a few accepted this as hows things should be, the others shunned it, seeing themselves as more grandparents to the races. A war erupted started by Sapphiredge who believed himself a god. He struck down his fellow elementals and lead an army against the others. This caused much damage to the land splitting it off from the main land and shaping Stohana into what it is like today. Rumors even say that it is because of this war that so many monsters appear on the Western side of the wall.
There was a great battle that happened at the Western most tip of the island that took the lives of all the Elementals except 2, Sapphiredge and Winterclaw. Looking upon the damage to the land and the races they once helped they chose to settle their dispute on a different realm. They left the realm telling all that once they have finished their great battle, one will return and help the races in a way that Elemental saw fit.
Over the years most have forgotten about this choosing to worship the actual gods instead but the Cult of Sapphiredge has stuck true to their beliefs and continue to try and force people into worshipping him as the god they so see.
