Cast of Characters
Episode 1 - "Begin"
Month: Ashardalon
In the town of Fall Crest near the end of Fall...

The Halfling Rogue, Puck meets with his adventuring colleague, the Dwarf Fighter, Dirk Skullsmasher at the Blue Moon Alehouse. Both fellows are broke, racking up high tabs at the bar and looking for work. They run into a rich, cocky Halfling Trader who offers them a job fit for adventurers. Irreplaceable art items, that the Halfling Trader was having delivered to his manor, were destroyed in a raid led by some Goblins in the Moonlight Hills. He offers the heroes a job to slay the Goblins for their affront. The heroes accept the Trader's offer and the Halfling decides to send a Half Elf Cleric he employs, Duval, to go with the heroes on their quest. The heroes venture to the Moonlight Hills where they find the Goblins in a ruined tower. They raid the tower, leaving no survivors in their assault. On the top level of the tower, during the raid, they find a Goliath behind an illusory wall, who is cursed by a magical sleep. The Goliath, turns out to be the son of the neighboring Baron in Harkenwold and the heroes decide to deliver him back to the Baron. The Goblins discover the heroes as they travel King's Road through the woods to Harkenwold. Along the way, the Goblins make ambush attempts from the woods in an attempt to steal back the Baron's son. The heroes eventually make it to White River, where armed guards in Harkenwold roam, warding off the Goblin's pursuit of the heroes. There, they meet the mighty Baron of Harkenwold, a Goliath named Vron Rahmees. Vron throws the heroes a party fit for barbarian kings in the pilard halls of his keep!

Memorable Moments: In the final battle inside the ruined tower, Puck slides one of the Goblins into a floor trap that sends the Goblin boss to the second floor of the tower where he takes falling damage. The floor of the second story is dilapidated and sagging. When he lands on this sagging floor, it gives way, dropping him yet another story to the ground floor, where the Goblin takes more falling damage. The goblin then dies at the foot of the stairs when he tries to climb back up and the heroes hit him with a single ranged attack.

Episode 2 - "Soul for Sale"
Month: Ashardalon
In the Barony of Harkenwold, in the last days of Fall....

Dirk, Puck and Duval enjoy the festivities of the Baron's party in their own honor. Duval informs Puck and Dirk that he is giving up following the Halfling trader to seek divine power, through adventure with them. During the banquet, Dirk is approached by the Baron's Magist (profit-advisor), a Tiefling Warlock that the people address as, "Your Magnificence." The Magist foresees mysterious knowledge of Dirk's Dwarven ancestor. He informs him that his Uncle's enemy has had him killed and that his soul is being bought by Devils of the Nine Hells. The Magist further informs Dirk that his Uncle's enemy is trying to open a portal to the Nine Hells in exchange for the eternal torment of his Uncle's soul. He tells Dirk to travel passed the North Woods, to the mountains, West. The group travels to the area, where they find a hewn tunnel door in the side of the mountain, deep at the bottom of a ravine. The tunnel leads to the temple-lair of the Tiefeling Heritic, Glirx and his hired thugs. Combat ensues throughout the temple's rooms until the group reaches Glirx in a large, domed, underground hell-shrine. The final battle is won against Glirx and his minions and Dirk is able to rescue the soul of his dead uncle from imps on the other side of a portal to Avernus (the first layer of the Nine Hells). The Portal is part of a magical device that looks like a mirror. The device, which is on a 30 foot high, stone platform in the shrine, is pushed off its ledge by Dirk Skullsmasher, causing the portal to shatter.

Memorable Moments: In the final battle Duval hits Glirx with a divine, ranged attack, scoring a critical hit while Glirx is standing on the 30' high ledge in the hell-shrine. Glirx then fumbles on his acrobatics check to stay on the ledge. One foot slips off the ledge, causing Glirx to smash his testicles on the side of the ledge. He then proceeds to fall, 30' and does not succeed in reducing any damage.
