A Polynesian theme would revolve around tikis, large ancestral spirit sculptures (think easter island) sacrificing for advantage. There are distinct island cultures for each color and humans are the primary creature type and they each have their own "small sprite creature" (gobs and elves are smaller in stature then usual)
Mechanics:
Sacrifice theme
Green - Elf
Red - Goblin
Black - Devil
Blue - Faerie
White - Spirit

Spirit Statue :3m:
Artifact
Whenever a creature you control is sacrificed put a soul counter on CARDNAME.
At the beginning of your upkeep you gain 1 life for each counter on CARDNAME.

This would combine well with the 'Waterworld plane'. Maybe the set could even be focused primarily on BLUE, much like Torment was focused on BLACK?
