Epic Destinies

Demigod/Chosen (PHB/FRPG)

Most Wardens will want to be Demigods or Chosen for obvious reasons. Silvanus, Selune, Tempus, Chauntea, and Moradin are great choices for Chosen.

Eternal Seeker (PHB)

Eternal Seeker is finally coming into its own. Its only going to get better as the game grows.

Adamantine Soldier (MP)

If you're wearing heavy armor for some reason, this ED is gold for ES Wardens.

Eternal Defender (MP)

Even though it doesn't increase your Con/Wis it gives out some great features. Increasing reach is probably my favorite aspect of this ED.

Undying Warrior (MP)

There can be only one, except you come back even if you get your head cut off. I haven't played Epic yet, but I'm not seeing how a Warden can actually be killed. The ability to get back surges at milestones is only great if you're outspending surges relative to your allies by a wide margin.

Glorious Spirit (PHB2)

I like the concept of this ED, but it only really starts getting good around mid Epic. The extra damage at 21st is kind of laughable relative to what Epic characters can do. The rest of the features and the at-will utility compliment the Warden nicely.

Harbinger of Doom (PHB2)

Like the Glorious Spirit, I like the concept here. Unlike the Glorious Spirit, all the features are good to great. Shield of Ill Fortune is actually pretty good. Rerolling 1's is quite good. It's extremely rare that you will roll two 1's in a row. Also, you should be facing most of the attacks of your enemies, so the occasional stun can't be underestimated. Cloak of Doom shores up a weakness of all Defenders...negating teleportation.

Lorekeeper (PHB2)

Wildblood only. Since you have Dungeoneering and Nature as class skills, you don't have to get any more skills if you don't want to, so you can qualify for this ED easily. The main drawback is that you'll need Ritual Casting to get the full benefit from this ED. True Name is a nova enabler. Lorekeeper's Revelation is the big draw of this ED. There are some amazing daily utilities that can exploit this awesome feature.

Primal Avatar (PHB2)

This ED seems to be for every Primal class save the Warden. A Warden could benefit of course, but there are better options.

Storm Sovereign (D 372)

This is a great choice for the Earthstrength Warden. A bonus to Con, some resistances, flight, and an excellent redirect of a nasty incoming attack. This ED is a near perfect fit for Genasi. Did I mention the Storm Sovereign gives out flight? Using a backup Feyslaughter weapon, you'll have an answer for anything at all times, albeit at level 30.

Harper of Legend (D 367)

You'll have to get a Diplomacy, Insight, or Stealth from somewhere else to qualify, as you only have Nature as a class skill. The payoff is worth it though if you want a bonus power, an extra AP, a solid auto resurrect, and an ok power. The bonus power and extra AP are the real draw here and both come early to the party.
