Casque of Tactics (AV)
An initiative bonus is good for anyone.
Carcanet of Psychic Schism/Coif of Focus/Coif of Mindiron (AV)
One of these items will more often than not keep you in a fight you were supposed to be taken out of, so they're a strong choice.
Eye of Awareness (AV)
A bonus to what is likely your weakest defense, and a big initiative boost is the cherry on top.
Helm of Battle (PHB)
Initiative bonuses for everyone!
Helm of Ghostly Defense (PHB)
Helps you take the sting off the hits.
Horned Helm (PHB)
Extra d6's while charging. Nothing more need be said.
Skull Mask (AV)
Some decent resistance, and an Intimidate bonus.
Amulet of False Life (PHB)
Your healing surge value in THP is a sweet ability, even if it's a Daily.
Amulet of Scales (D 365)
Scaling, immediate-application, encounter-long resistance to a keyword (which includes Arcane, Weapon, and the like) is nice.
Brooch of Vitality (AV)
More HP is NICE, especially the Epic Tier versions.
Cloak of Distortion (AV)
Forces your enemies to get in close enough for you to engage them.
Cloak of Resistance (PHB)
Decent resistance for a turn.
Cloak of the Phoenix (AV)
L30 item, and burning up all your surges hurts, but if there was ever an "Emergency Reset" button, this is it.
Cloak of the Walking Wounded (AV)
Double second wind while bloodied? Dwarves are in love with this, and this may actually tempt other races into using their second wind.
Life Charm (AV)
I am down, you say? Ha!
Periapt of Cascading Health (D 369)
Ends one effect per encounter, no questions asked. Win.
Scarab of Invulnerability (PHB)
Makes you immune to everything for a round. Sure, it's a Level 30 item, but you will enjoy the short amount of time you'll have it.
Steadfast Amulet (AV)
This prevents daze or stun. 'Nuff said.
Torc of Power Preservation (AV)
It retains Encounter powers when you use them. Need I really say more?
