My Magic Play Style is:
We really try to bring out the character and storytelling of the game. Small decks to start--35 cards (10 land, no more than 5 allies or monsters, and 20 spells/artifacts/instants or whatever). Each time we play, each side picks a card out of their extra cards to play for. The struggle between the Planeswalkers is to control contested resources--I want a certain artifact, but to get it will mean my rival won't be able to make an alliance with a certain race that guards the artifact--or whatever. Whoever wins gets to add the card they were playing for to their deck.
Oh, and instead of a 20 sided die for life, we use an 8.
My favorite Magic card is:
The Hunted Wumpus! I used to play Hunt the Wumpus, this really crusty old videogame when I was a kid--and when I saw Wumpus' were ported into Magic it was just awesome!
The first Magic expansion I ever played was:
Ravnica: City of Guilds
