Welcome to yet another corner of the Cosmothea Campaign Setting! This time around you'll be playing one of the Cosmothean Gods!



Players will have plenty of room to flesh out their god within the boundaries of the god's nature. Gods that are fleshed out exceptionally well might even be included in the Cosmothea RPG with the player's spin on the god (and credit given where it's due of course).

Should be lots of fun!

The Setting: Cosmothea is nearly 30 years old, as some of you know. Some of my players have had characters so long that they are now minor gods in Cosmothea. So, some of the gods are already accounted for, some I'll be running, but there's still plenty for you to pick from and flesh them out the way you want. (See list of gods below) Don't worry if you aren't up on the Cosmothean history or pantheon - I'll make sure you have what you need and then let you flesh the god out even further, making them your own.

If you haven't played the Cosmothea RPG, Don't Panic! This is a rules-super-lite version! Once you pick a god, I'll provide a divine rank, simplistic power descriptions and some easy to manage abilities, give you a background synopsis and 1 or 2 secrets your god knows, and let you loose to shape the universe in your image (or at least try to)! You might be surprised how exciting a PbP can be when you focus on Character development and story, and set the rules aside. As GM, I'll be playing many of the gods myself, and will make a few rolls, but it's going to be all about the roleplaying, not rollplaying.

Post Frequency: Please post a minimum of once per week (more often if you can, especially when your absence would affect the other players). I'm looking for serious players only (i.e. reliable). So, if you're really too busy to play, you may want to hold off from joining this PbP or it may hinder your ability to play the ones you are already in.

Need an Example?: I'll provide an example or two shortly. For a taste of how this PbP will run, check out the Prologues for my other 2 PbP's, which we ran while characters were still being created, but this PbP will have even less rules than those. There will be no combat - at least not in the traditional sense, so we won't be worrying about things like hit points and saving throws. Unless you love looking up table after table, and rolling dice every five minutes, I think you'll find this PbP a blast!
