The man shrugs slightly. "I dont see why not. I dont know who that is though." He gestures to the still open gates and the patiently waiting elderly gentlemen within. "Care to join me in my wandering? I've kept this man waiting long enough. I assume these gates are were closed for a reason, and i dont want to keep him any longer." "Sure."

"Sure." "Alrighty then. In we go." Taking a moment to remove the water acumulating on the brim of his fedora, he taps the edge of it as he turns towards the open gate of the town. As he walks through the gates, he impulsivley reaches out and touches the nearest one. Surprise registers on his face at how warm it is, and he quickly withdraws his hand, thinking it best not to touch. Stopping in front of the elderly monk, he bows respectfully at the waist. "Thank you for your patience. I take it you are here to lead me somewhere?"

-'We offer only shelter, and a warm meal, traveler'- The old man smiles. -'A man goes to wherever his will leads him'- He points to a large building of rock, and metal reinforcements. The doors are open.

The doors are open. Nortengaal chuckles, reaching up to remove the blood red fedora from his scalp and placing it in a pouch labled "C" on his belt. "Fair enough my friend. Wise words indeed." Gesturing to his new companion, he makes his way to the building he was directed to as he hears the gate slowly grind their way closed behind him.

Is all Eric offers. "Quite a nice offer, and most appreciated, as i am not yet certain what manner of currency is used here. I have to take you up on that." The man speaks in an easy tone, belaying his constant evaluation of his surroundings. Remembing something, he turns back to the monk, hoping to catch him before he leaves. "Before i forget, i was wondering, is there a dojo here or someplace here i can train? " The man grins a bit. "Or simply fighting would work as well. I recently aquired some new skills, and i would like to have the opportunity to familiarize myself with them."

Alec may help you'- The monk can't help but to smile. (By the direction of his eyes, he can guess the great hall is the same building where he was headed before)

Nortengaal bows to the monk respectfully, then turns back to what would appear to be the great hall and walks into the open doors.

The Great Hall is a large room, with four long tables extending from one side to the other. At the back, a wooden throne. The room is mostly empty. At the right side, 3 kids are playing a board game. At the left, a very robust man waits for a younger girl to finish serving him his meal. An armor and a large sword lies at his side.
