As the companions tear their newfound enemies into pulp, Renshi notices the small creature vanish around a corner. Since the rest of the group seems occupied with the current carnage the ghost quickly decides to follow the escaping figure. There is another! Follow me. He cries and silently runs towards the spot where he last saw the gnome. So eager is the swordsman that he barely notices the razorwines before he passes straight through them and continues on, eyes open for any suspicious movements.
I'll ask now, so I don't have to wait for an answer when it's my turn... it LOOKS like kraki's got line of sight to "&"... do either the edge of the building, taraxis, or the trell (20' in the air) provide any cover, in case I decide to throw my hammer at it?
drakir - Renshi's move to V18 will leave him staring at a wall. I believe he has a bit more move than that, and those walls are easily thin enough for him to pass through, should he wish to. You may readjust your ending position, if you'd like.
hh - Kraki has line of sight (past Taraxis' big metal derriere), and a Knowledge (planes) check will tell you what they ("&" and "#") are, if you wish.
Indeed. Kraki remembers from his mother's teachings that these are bearded devils, denizens of the lower planes. Their glaives can cause wounds that do not heal properly, and their beards (which they like to use as a weapon in hand-to-hand combat) are so filthy as to carry diseases.

Right, then Renshi will move to Y9, changing direction if he sees the gnome on the way.
Scowling at the creature who had hurt them, Trellis' heads consulted briefly then decided to forgo spells for the moment. Moving into position with scarcely a thought, they unleashed a storm of blows at the ugly things, only keeping a slight eye on their hex portals.
Actions Swift: Move Hex Portals (R15, H10, O7) Move: Move 10 foot west, 10 foot south, and 10 foot down (15 if necessary). Full: Full Attack. I should have &, 2, 3, O, and D in range. I'll start with & who hit me and then move on to 2, 3, then D, and O.
Except for the Haste Attack at the end, I forgot to add in the +1 haste bonus to attack on all of those. So please reduce the enemies AC by 1 to compensate. My AC should also be 54 right now due to haste. Overall, a large number of attacks in the 20 range, with one natural 1 on one of the secondary attacks.
Ack, sorry to leave you guys hanging in the middle of battle. Work and RL got ridiculous again, not to mention that there's going to be a lot happening in this next round, so it'll take me a good while to post the update.
I'll try to get us moving again ASAP. Thanks, as always, for your patience. :/
So much for "ASAP." Anyway, my humblest apologies as always. It'll still be pretty touch-and-go for the next month or two, as this is the busy season at work, and I'm house shopping (after which my family and I will be moving). On a positive note, I did finally finish a side job that was eating up the majority of my spare time.
Oh and Bal - sorry in advance, but you're probably going to have to alter your posted actions a bit to reflect the enemies that go before you.
As Renshi passes through the walls of the ramshackle dwelling, he sees the small arcanist cowering just outside the plank of wood that serves as a door, trying to catch his breath.
There is a low muttering from the huts to Trellis' left, and the collective experience a slightly painful sensation of draining as some of their beneficial magics are stripped away.
Trellis is pretty sure this came from the orc, who hid again afterwards. You caught him with the spot check, though: he's hiding at E10. You may adjust your hex portals and such accordingly.
Winnick sends a fuselade of projectiles towards the devil who had struck Trellis, but the majority of them glance off the creature's tough hide, leaving barely a scratch. "Bloody hells," he curses under his breath.
There is a faint sound from up ahead, in the direction the group had originally been traveling, and the chaos of the situation suddenly redoubles as the black, glistening vines which cover the outer walls of the nearby dwellings begin to rapidly grow and twist in every direction. Within a matter of moments, the entire area is completely overgrown, and anyone who hadn't known the nature of the plants gains a quick and harsh lesson in regards to their razor-sharp leaves.
Everyone (yes, everyone - except Renshi :P) needs a Reflex save, DC 18, or be entangled and take 15 damage this round. Successful save halves the damage.
