And so the group splits as they leave the Lost Anchor. Ranni and Grumo move off into the shadow filled streets of Jennison, heading back in the direction of Pell's shack, and the rest of the group move down toward the docks and the ships that float silently on the calm waters, lanterns burning at the fore and aft of each vessel.

For Ranni & Grumo Show
the road back to Pell's is clear and empty as the night wears on, and the few street lamps cast dancing shadows across the plaster and wood walls of the buildings. It dosen't take long for the odd pair to arrive at the hut belonging to Pell, and they discover everything just as they had left it nearly half an hour ago. The smell is still aweful, and the door to the shack is closed. The light from a single candle can be seen leaking through the cracks in the boards of the hut. A few stray cats wander around Pell's door, attracted by the smell of rotten fish.

Down on the wharf the rest of the group has little trouble finding the Swallow. The ship is deffinetly unique. Though she was obviously once a regular merchant ship, she now sports dozens of additional small sails strung throughout an extremely complex web of rigging. A large, fin-like device is mounted on the rear of the ship, and the bow of the ship has been expanded into the semblence of a hammerhead shark, complete with a set of massive crystal portholes where a real shark's eyes should be. All seems quiet this dark evening as the party approaches, the only sign of life is a lone dwarf standing at the bottom of the Swallow's loading plank leaning heavily on a double bladed axe and trying to keep his eyes open.

Travok walks towards the dwarf. He has no weapons in hand.

Greetings brother of the Earth!

Having given a formal dwarven greeting he proceeds in common so everyone will understand.

We were hoping to be able to speak with Captain Faust about possibly acquiring the use of this ship and its crew. Is the Captain available?
Wash: "Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn through, this landing is gonna get pretty interesting."

Mal: "Define interesting."

Wash: "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?"

Mal: "This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode."

Just fyi, I'm kind of waiting on Ranni's actions before posting. She's the spy type. Grumo would really just follow the lead.

Krago follows Travok's lead on the docks. He's content to let the dwarf do the talking and quietly listens to any discussion watching for anything out of the ordinary.

On the docks the dwarf guard seems a little taken by surprise when he is suddenly addressed in the dwarven tongue. He snaps to attention and regards Travok for a moment before offering a reply, speaking in common to be polite to the others in the group, "Who are ye? I'll be needin names afore I can be callin the cap'n."
