Lets make sure we're on the same page here.

Craft Skills. Thanks for posting all that info for my review. I don't care what you call it on your sheet. Craft Warforged is fine with me and we'll know. Or you may use Woodworking or Armor. This does take time as you noted. I mentioned the warforged Repair kit as a way to save him since he was at such a negative number. I use the AE rules for negative max. You may go to your Con score in negative numbers before dying.

Example of how I see things taking place. Gets hit for -21hp. he can live at -13hp. He has to heal 8hp before the end of the round so his total is at -13 or better. This is why I tried the idea of the repair kit. I honestly don't know what a repair kit heals. I'll assume you got him to -13 with the kit. Then from there you can use your Craft Skills.

I'm also adding a bit of extra troubles into this for a couple reasons. 1) Anvil will still have brain damage that you will not be able to repair since he did go below -13hp. Also I don't want to use him as an NPC so it will give a good reason for him to live but not be ready for adventuring right a way. He can take time off from adventuring and finish healing up. Perhaps he'll come back perhaps not.

Kali works hard to fix her friend and she is able to repair much of his body however Anvil still seems confused an unsure of what has happened. Many of his internal brain functions are still damaged. He can talk to you but his words are slower and come with great force. It's clear he is not up for combat but he will live.

Together you make your way the final distance to the city. Trolanport's gates rise high at the end of the road you stagger down. You have finally made it to your next destination.

What do you plan to do next?

Spoiler: Show
I was thinking that Anvil can return to Sharn. Kalandra will gladly send him to see Elaydren. She’ll know what to do with him & Kali will feel better knowing he’s with family and getting the best care possible.

I will switch her Craft out to reflect Armorsmithing, which will not only be helpful in repairing warforged but will also help with repairing any dents anyone gets in their armor. Or perhaps she can design some armor that Larulia can wear.

I sure hope one of the new people joining the group is warforged! Otherwise, it is going to be silly for Kalandra to have all these wonderful repair warforged powers and no reason to ever use them. :P

Kalandra finally fell asleep sometime toward dawn, waking late in the morning. Her eyes feel scratchy and itchy and full of dirt. She rubs at them but the only thing that will help is more sleep and a good soak in a bathhouse. She walks along, leading the horse with Scatha’s body on it and exchanging tired but worried glances with Larulia over Anvil. She does what she can to make the warforged comfortable.

The sight of the gates of Trolanport rising up in front of them does little to inspire Kali. She is tired, footsore and heartsore; right now little inspires her. *Here is another thing they never tell you in the stories and songs,* she can’t help but notice. She had always wanted to see the great seaside city of Trolanport but right now her heart isn’t in it as she shows the guards at the gate her travel papers and helps Anvil with his ID and travel papers.

She gets directions to the Temple of the Silver Flame. Unless Larulia objects, Kali would prefer to give Scatha’s body over to the priests before it ripens any further. Not sure how much of this you want to rp out Nivek, so I’ll wait to post too much more.

Kalandra gives Larulia a tired smile. “Well, we’re finally here. Once we deliver Scatha, shall we find an inn, get a decent meal, clean up and get a good night’s sleep? We’ll think better on how to proceed once we’ve had a chance to sit down for more than two moments.” Even her voice sounds tired, though the sorceress can see she is making an effort to be, if not upbeat, at least not depressing. She automatically checks to make sure Anvil is still beside her and has not gotten confused and wandered off. Just in case, she takes some of his rope and ties it around his wrist, having him hold that end while she holds the other. The last thing she wants to do is misplace her friend in the middle of a strange city.

I believe the first order of business is to say "nuts!" to Mr Dark Lantern guy and get Scatha's body back to the Temple of the Silver Flame.

Larullia falls back to sit on the ground after the woman finaly gows down, supporting her head. I've never used that much magic before, while Kalandra works furiously to revive Anvil. On the remainder of the ride to Trolanport she can't help but think that this business of Lucan doesn't seem worth the loss of their friends.

EDIT: you beat me to it Aka!

Larullia nods at the suggestion of the inn. "I think we need to take a moment before we decide what to do next. Things have much changed."
Girls' night!

"Changed, yes, you can definitely say things have changed." The usually bright and bubbly sixteen year old glances first at the body of her cousin on the horse and then at her poor confused friend Anvil. Her thoughts also go to Dorinath, buried in an unmarked grave on the lonely road to Trolanport. In her mind he deserved better, a hero's funeral, though he would probably be happier with the simple grave he now lies in. Not that any of it matters anyway. Once you die, all go to Dolurrh, where you just fade away. It's one reason why she believes in living life to the fullest while you can.

Thankfully it doesn't take them long before they arrive at the temple. She pats Anvil's hand, much as a mother would soothe a child, taking comfort from the contact.

Throughout the journey, Larullia begins humming again, singing a slow elvish tune to herself as she had often done prior to their journeys to White Hearth. She takes some measure of comfort from the tune, putting a little more care and attention into the notes than she was previously inclined to do when it was merely a hobby to pass dull moments.

Larulia's tune is catchy and Kali can't seem to help herself. Often she finds herself humming a counter melody to the harmony, intertwining the notes to often create something new and a bit more powerful.

Kalandra will have used her bardic powers over the past few days, testing their limits and trying to stretch her abilities.

The guards give you strange looks as you pass the city gates. "Looks to me that you've had some troubles on your journey to arrive at our fine city. Assumin you leave the fight'n on the out side of the gates you'll have no troubles here. Is this your first time to Trolanport? Is there any place your looking for?"

Assuming you tell him your looking for the Temple of the Silver Flame he will give you directions to there.

So how is the AE reading going Aka?

Backstory and Personality Show

Background

Grodric's family left the Mror Holds long before the great war was ever a thought in anyone's mind. There was no particular reason for their deparure, simply a change of scenery, and a certain Aundarian claim to craft the "best wine and spirits" in all of Khorvaire. A claim that hsi family help throughout the holds, this was a challenge to their families trade. Through the next 60 years or so, his family had bought land, grown crops of barely, wheat, hops, and of course Aundarian grapes. The inclusion of wine into their craft was a necessary one for the country, but they proved equally skilled at it. When the war started, some dwarves residing in Aundair left for the Holds, to help make their races own claim to land and power in the nation. The Goldbrew's, however considered themselves Aundarian now. True they were still dwarves, but they held no claims to any part of the Holds any longer.

By the time Grodric was born, some 60 years later, his families business was known throughout all of Aundair, and even into the other nations..despite the hostile borders. They never sold to any merchant of an enemy nation, but just as weapons change hands, so to does food and drink.

Once he reached an appropriate age, Grodric gladdly joined up as a volunteer to the Aundarian militia. Though not a true soldier, lacking the military training and regimented lifestyle, his areas milita were a fierce bunch. What they lacked in training, they made up for with tenacity, vigilance, and most of all...loyalty.

however, near what would eventually become the end of the war....his company was betrayed. There were, of course, some within the court who, despite their blood, and countrymen dying for them....saw other possibilities in the war. These possibilities however, saddly, did not include Aundair shinning victoriously. And for a goal such as this, a company as steadfast, determined, and succesful as the ________ could not be left to continue.

After the tragicly failed, and apparent suicide mission...only two from the company survived somehow. Grodric, and an older man, who by his experience and age, could have very well been the commander of the ________'s. This soldier however, didn't care for the politics that even a lowly militita captain was forced to deal with. He cared for only two things....the Elegant dance of battle. and the serene beauty of Aundair. By all rights, and by all wounds, grodric should have been among the dead...but his dwarven stubbourness, and undying refusal to abandon his duty to his home saw him through. The warrior left with Grodric to retire back at his families brewery. While they both healed, he taught Grodric skills of warfare few can say to have learned. Grodric learned to draw upon the mastery of the Iron Spirit, tactics of the White Raven school, and the discipline of a Diamond Mind. His own Dwarven affinity for the earth made for an easy student of the Stone Fist style.

Though the older man only had little time enough to teach him the basics of his knowledge, Grodric's devotion sailed him through the rest and he became a quick study, even mastering the Mountain Hammer Strike with absolutely no instruction. By the time the reached the capitol to report, and find a new group to help fight, the war had ended. All nations were at peace...if you could call it that. however, both grodric and his new teacher, and comrade new that there were rats within the walls of their home. unable to seek them out from within the walls, for fear of being declared a traitor, they both left Aundair in hopes of learning deeper truths to aid them. Deeper truths of politics, and of warfare. Though their feet do not rest upon Aundarian soil these nights, it is for certain that the heart does.

Personality

Grodric is an Aundarian loyalist, through and through. However, he is able to recognize the war between nations has come to an end. While he still remembers the fierce battles with their neighbors, he does not let those thoughts cloud his judgement of people. However, though the 100 year war is over...Grodric is still fighting a silent battle, for the integrity of his home. If he is to hope for such integrity of others, he too must walk that line. To this end, he maintains his sense of loyalty in all things he does. He does not abide the harm of those who cannot defend themselves, and holds a deep respect for any who cling to their beliefs to their dying breath. His families trade still rings true to him, and he loves to sample and critique spirits, ale, and wine of all kinds...everywhere. the same can be said of friendships. Grodric is relatively personable for a dwarf, and has a knack for storytelling....as long as his audience doesn't mind hearing about his home and battles.

Let's hope Grodric likes music :D. I had Larullia coming from Aundair but I don't seem to have editted it into my barckground. Need to fix that.

(taking some liberties here) Larullia thanks the guards for their help with just the one word and leads the horse bearing Scatha over to the temple (assuming Kalandra has Avil). The trip is a slow one, and she pauses outside the large looming doors of the temple, looking up at them and sighing.

Grodric, stage right?
