I'm Gregory. And it turns out that my gunrunning days aboard ship will come in handy once again as we seem to otherwise be lacking a pilot at the moment. Gregory throws a look at Jason that quickly turns into a smile holding back a chuckle, seeing as the man is well crazy enough to threaten a group that has a tank mounted multi-laser pointed in his direction. Ya know Jason, if you let all that hate stay in you its gonna eat you up from the inside out, even if it does keep you warm at night. Gregory looks around seeing Rictor using him for cover gives him a nasty look, and steps out around the newcomer Jason "liberates" a trio of lasgun power cells from the dead guardsman ejecting his half spent one to be recharged later on and a pair of fresh cells. Sativez you care to lead the way? Gregory says as he pops in the new powercell.
As everyone all of a sudden started to use blue for speech I am changing my color to "SeaGreen". When I level up I am going to spend a few skill points on Pilot to back up my backstory.

I would try picking up the Starship Operations feat too.
Sativez climbs out of the vehicle's cupola and leaps off the roof, landing lightly on the deck. Why don't we have Jason lead? He'd know where he's goin' He walks to where the last guardsman is bleeding on the deck, drawing his knife. Then somethign occurs to him mid-stride. Waving with his knife-wielding hand, he says I'm Sativez.
Kneeling over the dying man, Sativez slices his jugular open to hasten the process and goes through his pockets for money. How many of these losers are left on this shuttle anyway?

jason looks at the ratling, a look of disgust on his face....
Another mutated thing. Great. Lucky for you I don't too much care about others appearances anymore. So long as you kill anything in the way, we'll get along just fine.
Anyone got a cigar? All these moronic guardsmen stress me the hell out, and the sorry feths thought it was funny to smoke all mine in front of me.
Jason leans over to one of the dead guardsmens face...
HAHA! Look who's laughin now scum-face.
Jason furiously implants his boot into the face of the nearest dead guardsmen.

Hmmm. Perhaps it might be best to just kill the big insane guy now.Rictor eyes the big guy staying just out of his reach. He scowls deeply as the two of them go about mutilating the bodies of the dead. Blue is the standard post for speech for most people on these threads. I really don't see the need for everyone using different colors. It can be confusing as a lot of people change the colors to show they are speaking in a different language. Not saying anything is wrong with, just explaining why people suddenly horned in on oyur color.
Wash: "Yeah well, if she doesn't give us some extra flow from the engine room to offset the burn through, this landing is gonna get pretty interesting."
Mal: "Define interesting."
Wash: "Oh god oh god we're all gonna die?"
Mal: "This is the captain. We have a...little problem with our engine sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then...explode."

Ah I see. I guess I was realizing that in the other PBP game I am in everyone has their own speech/thought color... helps to differentiate who's talking slightly, not that its a big deal or anything. Secondly if I do take Starship operation it will used more than just this once correct?
Yeah now that you mention it Jason's been on this shuttle longer than we have so he ought to have a better idea of where everyone is than us.... considering they pretty much woke us up with the suits and kicked us out into the facility.... Gregory's voice trails off just a little bit at the end of comment.

Jason throws a quick little comment out...
So, what do you guys think of General Heimdall? Great guy isn't he?
Draidden: You may have missed the question earlier. Where is your character sheet located? I did not see it on the first page. I don't know what race you are or anything.

I wouldn't see why not. I really haven't planned that far ahead, but I'm sure I could work it in somewhere.
The shuttle was flying on autopilot, you guys are the only people on the ship at the moment.
P.S. Do you want me to start the midgame setup now or wait till everyone gets introduced properly?

I would say go ahead and get the mid-game setup thread going and while we upgrade our characters, we can introduce ourselves here. At least as much as we are going to that is. I have already upgraded him. As soon as the setup thread is ready I'll post him there for you to look over.Having discovered that they have already killed all the guards, Rictor has a slight panic attack wondering what the heck they are goig to do now. He heads for the bridge/cockpit and takes one of the seats other than the pilots. He starts to look over the computers and see if he can access them for help flying this thing. Computer Use: 30Was going to have him take 20 if possible and then post a roll if it was not, but considering I rolled a 20 there was no need. When he has time he will introduce himself a little better. As I said my name is Rictor. I was arrested for being too curious and forced to go on this mission to possibly clear my name. By too curious I mean I found a secure location through a computer and was overly curious about what was in it. I broke in to look around. I bypassed the first two alarm systems, but never thought they would have three. I couldn't convince them I was just curious and wasn't going to take anything.
I guess I am alos the groups medic as I have had some good medical training too.
So what brings a nice guy like you here?

Setup thread posted
The simple security is easily overcome and Rictor accesses the shuttle's pilot computer. It feels good to be working with current Imperial technology again, although the differences are mainly cosmetic.
The screens over the cockpit light up, displaying reams of data on ship condition, sensor data, and communications frequencies. All completely incomprehensible to anyone who wasn't familiar with them. At least the stick and throttle seemed simple enough.

I'm here 'cuz the 'Biters didn't think I was worth the ammo. I think what's more important is that we figure out how to get somewhere that isn't here. Anybody got somethin' better than sendin' a distress signal an' prayin'?
