IF I were to guess which UK carrier, it would have been the Eagle. I await the arrival of the HMS Indefatigable along with the Firefly.
Hey RB, nice work on the eagle. It looks awesome. UK gets a Dog2 carrier.
The Taiho should also be a cool addition. Can not wait to get my 2 cases!!!
Well done.

I'm liking both units, particularly from a design standpoint. No negative SA for Taiho, but an excellent way to represent the loss of experienced aircrew. HMS Eagle adds some good flexibility to UK fleets. Well done!

Sweet. I to am waiting for Indefatigable, but Eagle was the second on my list so I am extremely happy. A funky looking carrier with a great battle history. Perfect for RN for RM matches.
And Taiho is, well, Taiho! I think the stats and SA's are spot on for it.

Hey RB! You beat us to the post about your blog! LOL This was a great surprise to come home to after a crappy night at work. I wonder if we'll have some Seafires for HMS Eagle to launch as well...

Sorry for sounding negative - but the Eagle is a rare... -well its the first rare capacity one Carrier
Just kidding of course. Its a superb choice for the British - I hope we get an early war fighter for the Brits so we can benefit from ED 2 ...
...,... and Rock'n Roll - but Minis are fun too...

In this game, every ship added to your fleet potential counts. If you have it in your navy it keeps them guessing....the the building of one's battle fleet for a game is part of the excitement for me around this game. Last year was the first time in our league in Western New York where I crushed the battleship predominant fleets with carriers and air power in our annual tournament.
HMS Eagle gives me an inexpensive ship that can take objectives like a cruiser....yet provide some air support. I GREATLY appreciate both of these ships....and this set has been one of the most anticipated for me....with minesweepers, installations, landing craft, etc. New variety means new possibilities and new game dynamics. While some of you love the re-prints and upscaled versions....I was just happy to have the miniatures like Bismark and Hood...and have to say that I found a way to make each of them work. This game allows for some great creativity.
Keep em coming Richard. I have over 150 games...and this one remains my favorite.

It's great to see HMS EAGLE and it's a lovely sculpt with excellent camo scheme. I like the values as well. This will indeed be a welcome addition for Mediteranean scenarios. Now for a Fairey Fulmar!
TAIHO is nicely rendered and I like the values, though a torpedo or critical explosion vulnerability would have been interesting especially in light of the new armored-deck/hangar design for the Japanese and the accululated explosive-fumes problem in that design.
This will certainly be an interesting set carrier-wise with WASP coming as well.
Thanks for the preview!
