The in-game scenario is this.  A ship with night-fighter has it's first attack on an enemy ship negated by a concealment roll.  Can it use night-fighter to gain a second attack on the same enemy ship?

I guess the real question would be, when it says in the night fighter SA that you re-roll an attack, are you making a new attack (which would require a separate concealment roll) or are you just re-doing the first attack (which would be a waste since that first attack was already negated).

Night Fighter does not negate concealment.

Many players make concealment rolls before the attack dice are rolled in order to save time and wristage, but the real sequence should be:

1: Roll the attack.
2: Re-roll the attack if you don't like the first result.
3: Make a concealment roll if the attack scored enough successes to cause damage.
