SA: Escort

If a friendly Fighter is in the same sector as a Beaufighter, or the Zero Kamikaze, it can not use its Escort SA if they are attacked, because they are no Bombers.
Is this correct?

I believe this is correct -the SA text refers specifically to Bombers and the Beaufighter and Zero Kamikaze cards specifically list these units as Fighters so: no Bombers, no Escort.
