I prefer Coure Attendant for the 1/enc CA vs Adjacent Creatures as a Minor Action.
Transposing Lunge/Circle of Devastation can be used "when you use your Aegis of Shielding" so RAR lets me use both DV/SoS/UB and TL/CoD in the same round. 1 Feat for an extra attack+negation per encounter and is of some (very slight) relevance in round 2+ is very very strong.
My only attack that slides is Eldritch Strike, as this is LFR, with Punishing Sigil it's enough to justify the Staggering Weapon. My primary weapon is actually the Rare Faervian (effectively a Sunblade with a free action at-will 1/enc). If this weren't LFR, I would have a Mark of Storm so both Booming Blade and Thundering Vortex (and a couple other choices for thunder/lightning) slide.
edit (thanks zel): Armor gives me a +Item Bonus to defenses, so Aversion Staff isn't an option
"Invokers are probably better round after round but Wizard dailies are devastating. Actually, devastating is too light a word. Wizard daily powers are soul crushing, encounter ending, havoc causing pieces of awesome." -AirPower25 Sear the Flesh, Purify the Soul; Harden the Heart, and Improve the Mind; Born of Blood, but Forged by Fire; The MECH warrior reaches perfection.
Thanks for making this clear. Coure Attendant's active benefit is nice, but wouldn't it be kind of worse than Rakshasa Claw, when it comes to juggling more than two items a round? It's "always as free" vs "as free once a round". So you couldn't react properly in many situations by having the right item in hand. Is there a rule that forbids item swapping out of the own turn, cause if not, i would really prefer RC over CA. Would the slide 1 on Thundering Vortex justify taking a feat? Cause it lacks the weapon keyword, so Staggering Weapon shouldn't apply.
Huh, missed that difference on the Coure, weird; maybe it was that way in the non-compiled version, oh well, Claw it is, I refluff it anyway.
Just for Thundering Vortex? No. You'd take Mark of Warding. But you can take Thunder Riposte instead of CoD, and you should have Booming Blade as well, and then Astral Thunder Blade at 29 instead of Languor.

Claw is better, but you can't take it until level 14 and I'm at level 12, so that would mean either Disembodied Hand or Coure Attendant I believe. Retrain at level 14 I suppose.
I'm too uncreative to come up with an amazing build name, pic, and quote for it, but here's roughly my SM|Lock in LFR. Spoiler:Show

You stated somewhere else, that you aren't too happy with Iliyanbruen Guardian for a non-leader build. So, what else would you suggest to pick for this one instead? Sarifal Feywarden? Yakuza?
Sarifal has Minor Action issues, decent in Heroic when "mark and curse everything" isn't outright required/possible.
Yakuza is always strong, even though the OA feature is wasted, Life's Losing Hand and Ruthless Demonstration make it a viable theme for any build that deals damage. Ironwrought and Guardian would also be on the list above Sarifal. Sensate works so long as you don't go Twofold Infernal. Misshapen is interesting, especially the daily stance that would auto-trigger your Booming Blade's secondary as well as an OA. Sentinel Marshall is probably the second best since it gives you an extra mark (and immobilize). Pretty much anything with an Initiative Bonus is helpful. Samurai would be a good choice (up there with Yakuza/Ironwrought/Guardian) because of the free move, off-turn mark, and Save/+X to Nads utilities.
Top has got to be Purple Dragon. Even with variant builds increasing defenses, almost none of the "last the encounter" powers that Arcane Classes have are stances, so just having "+1 to hit with Eldritch Strike" always on is potent itself, but Sudden Formation is absurdly strong for a Sigil Carver to have (anyone using Magic Weapon likes it when you do this also!), and the U10 giving Resist Stat (8) in Aura 1 as a daily is very nice (2x Fey Step, Planestrider Boots, and retrain Assassin's Bane to Ethereal Stride makes Sidestep not needed at all). It also fits with the way the LFR campaign runs, where you pretty much spend half your time in the general vicinity of Cormyr (Cormyr, Dalelands, Moonsea, Myth Drannor, Dragon Coast, Sembia, Elturgard) and basically every PC ends up a Knight of Myth Drannor *and* a Knight of Cormyr (and a Burgher of Impultur, Sultan in Calimshan, Heir of Mirt ...)
