I actually kind of hate the shaman heal at all levels. Spreading out healing is kind of like spreading out damage - much better when it comes at no cost to your single-target effectiveness than when it cripples it.

I actually kind of hate the shaman heal at all levels. Spreading out healing is kind of like spreading out damage - much better when it comes at no cost to your single-target effectiveness than when it cripples it.
Least it doubles the effectiveness of Healer's Brooch (+Enhance to both targets). If Gloves of the Healer didn't have a one-target restriction, Shaman would actually be near top-tier for their heal.

I pretty much make it up with Ravenous Blessing and using the secondary on myself the 2nd time; but my biggest issue with it is the range, cburst 5 in Epic can be problematic.
