If a monk used a ki focus/magic weapon and changed the damage of blistering flourish from fire to frost/lightning/thunder, would the bonus damage the power gives to melee attacks also be frost/lightning/thunder?

If it does not, then would it still keep the fire keyword since it still gives fire bonus damage? Or would it be a strange case of a power giving bonus damage of a particular type but not have that keyword?

I.e.
Blistering Flourish > lightning ki focus > lightning bonus damage > FoB(any) now does bonus lightning damage
or
Blistering Flourish > lightning ki focus > fire bonus damage > FoB(any) does fire damage
