And meetup.com is not just a gaming group site.  If you have other hobbies that your gaming friends do not enjoy, with meetup.com you can find an additional circle of friends for that hobby.  Personally, I joined meetup.com for gaming (and found two great groups by the way), but I also found a great golfing group and a skiing group .

Bit of trivia...meetup.com was originally created for victims of 9/11 to find (and comfort) each other .
