5 cents on traits
Random totals are good Negatives are very good Stereotypes are good Breaking stereotypes are better
No race benefits more from traits than humans
Player picks one posative trait from overall list in any race. Can take a second with a negative. Can take a third with all random neutral traits. Player rolls 1d6-1 for total neautral traits. Neutral traits are selected from a list that is signature to race.
General Posative Twin Learn from thy sibling. Start each level with 100xp General or human neutral Cool- -1 to damage +3 on all save vs death or any save after reduced to half hp Humble- Has to tithe 20% of money/ extra d6 skill die when persuading good NPCs General Negative Boring- loses a skill die lvl after more than two checks on the same NPC or faction. Human negative Idiot- subtract 2 to any int check Incompetent- -2 skills known Idiot and Incompetent form synergy granting the Fool trait that offers a few intersting posatives

Lol. Actually Humans in warcraft are much more defined than core humans, and therefore will have traits.

An interesting read but I'm surprised that you didn't just "convert" from the WoWRPG.

I definately took them into account, but races in the current playtest have a different feel and mechanical presentation than those presented in the Warcraft d20 books.
Example? The +1 to all saves is pulled straight from the 3.5 Gnome racials.

I think they just stole it straight from Halflings, though. I mean, it doesn't seem to really fit with Gnomes at all.
The metagame is not the game.

I can see that. That racial is probably getting removed as soon as I can think of something to put in it's place :P

Warcraft definitely combined the traditional halfling and gnome traits in with their gnomes, with some of their own specific adjustments as well.
