Besides essentials i wanted to say. Barbarian as a charger is not the strongest variant of that class as i've been shown. Neither is the charging Warlock. Avenger - could be - but a twin-striking crit-fishing Avenger is stronger, i guess. If you build a vanilla druid as a charger you don't waste any potential, you just make him a better druid, and thats all i wanted to say.

You don't have to be a Gnoll and to charge to take down a solo with HoB, tho. If you somehow manage to mix in some minors, you will take him down as well.

When you use a daily item power to add charge kit bonuses to what's already one of the best striker powers in the game, it becomes a better striker power.

I guess he meant doing it by being Gnoll or Reincarnate Champion and using it with Ferocious Charge via Fierce Charge and Brutal Charge feats. If u combine it with Surprising Charge and a Gouge you probably have the most terrific Standard Action possible. And you can do it every encounter. But it costs a lot of feat slots and you're most likely a one-trick-pony then.
