If you want to be able to do some rogue-ish stuff. Factotum is seriously the way to go. Remember, Iaijutsu focus is awesome. The real question is what do you want this character to do?

And Vest of Escape is bad. What you want is a Third Eye: Clarity, with TE:Freedom functionality added. Serious good coverage for basic defenses for relatively cheap.
