Fortunately the meeting with Leaf was brief. As the sun went out, Zebus accidently let some of his essence leak out in surprise. Coming back under control quickly, Zebus decides to try to find out what Pruinus's plans are.

"So, have you noticed fair chilly one, that the sun has unexpectedly set? I was also so hoping to join that other odd god that you shooed off. Anyways, so what are our plans now?"

Cumbrous had been watching silently with his brothers, trying to ascertain the nature of this being that worked among the caverns. His body is a strange substance, but he shows no special powers in performing his labors. Could one such as this, truely have caused so much movement in the stones at once to attract the notice of the Living Mountain? This was the only being they had encountered during their quest, and his form certainly suggested a great power. But, he was demonstrating a clear lack of power just now.

Then came another. Zebus? The name was familiar, but not quite recognizable. Leaf, however, that name he knew well. A god had captured this creature's father? And demanded fealty from him? This Father must be powerful... Powerful enough to be another god? Which would explain much of the mountains and caverns. It was as much of an answer as he was going to get, and he had been on this quest for a long time already. Cumbrous prayed.

~~~
Onus watched Agni and Artun fly off into different directions. Such odd behavior... He looked around for the source of this explosion Artun had spoken of, but his mind was more bothered by Artun's behavior. He walked aimlessly about the world crown, studying all the new life that had come to be there, and watching the other new gods from a distance... and time passed.
Then, the suns went dark. A most unusual occurrence... Had Artun done something wrong up there? Perhaps I should have followed after him. Onus took to the skies, flying up towards the dark spaces he now saw hanging in the skies, only to feel the pull of a prayer. He stopped, hovering in midair. A decision had to be made, investigate the new dilemma, or answer the call of the older one. It came from the direction Agni had gone... Agni? Onus stared into the skies, then turned and flew south with as much speed as he could muster.
The Smith looked at the stranger as he thought upon his words.
Small, weak and bleeding....and yet he had time and the power to find me. He comes wih words of war between foolish Gods. He comes proclaiming the defeat of my Father and asks of me to help him. He..asks me to help him? Why?
The Smith turned his back on his guest and put a hand on the massive, but yet unfinished pillar he had been working on.
" I...have been working on this..construction for quite some time. I have..spent untold amounts of time reducing what once was moutain to something..more useful. "
He closed his eyes as his hand slowly moved over the hard, uneven rocky surface.
" It takes its..due time you see to do something proper. Especially when you are alone. I...was made to build things you see. Not to create them. Make new things out of already existing material. "
He turned yet another time, once more to face his guest.
" I will..help you in your quest, guest. In exchange though for...a service. A simple one for a creature such as you that can make things out of thin air. I want bodies. Not living creatures. Flesh. Not life. Make me a hundred bodies as those the humans wear and in exchange I will make you an armour unlike anything this world has seen. "
Pruinus had not noticed the lack of sunlight before, unconsciously attributing this to the thick foliage of the forest, but the sun had indeed been extinguished.
What had Agni done now? She had to reach him and explain how his actions were affecting the spirits.
She spoke to the blade.
"My apologies, but i was unsure if i could trust him. the next time we meet, I shall pass you over to him if you wish"
Yes, it was only fair that she aided the gods to prepare for the oncoming storm. After all... Winter Was Coming.
Pruinus shot out of the forest, Diving into the godscrater as she did. She was horrified at the corrupted angels she saw tearing each other to pieces.
No. This was not Agni's work. Even he would not create something so repulsive.
Azazel/Go'El was honestly suprised. It seems that this son of Agni cared little for his father, and that was darkly pleasing to the Fused God. He was no ally of theirs, and perhaps one day he could be an ally of the true king...
Still, he needed to sound realistic.
You would bargain now?! Your Father who claimed you as his own with pride and purpose, to whom you owe your very life, has been sealed away and you deny him aid?!
He feigned disappointment and reluctant defeat.
Regardless, your choices are your own. Here, take them. Help me...
Taking a small cup, he poured the smooth tea across the floor. The liquid bubbled and gathered together into a crowd of human husks. These husks, of many varied builds, collapsed unto the floor.
The god waited for the smith's reply.
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. -Revelation 21:6
" My father is who he is. I owe him much, but not...this. I will not involve myself in these wars between Gods. My purpose in this world is not to invoke harm upon others nor do I desire to force my will upon others. I swore to protect him though..and perhaps this might be a way to fullfill that vow "
He smiled at the husks, picked them carefully up one after one and stored them away.
" This will do more then nicely for my purposes. Now then.."
The smith raised his open hand and closed it. His hammer was there now. A huge thing that glew hotly, sparks flew from the steel and the shaft itself was blackend and cracked at places.
" Now then, let me show you what hard work can make possible. "
And so the Smith began to work. Bringing forth metal, tools and all matter of things he needed to do his work. It took days but in the end he fullfilled his promise and delivered an armour to his guest. It took the form of a full plate armour made of fine, but unadorned steel. There was power in it though. A lot of it. The Smith enjoyed his work and to make something like this..was most interesting. It was made of steel but strengthened with divine fire.
He held it in his hand. A small ring of finest steel a word was uttered and the ring shone and changed form to cover its wearer in an armour of finest steel. It was unadorned, other than a small symbol in front of the heart of the wearer. Four lines that took the shape of a mountain.
" It will bend to your will, Guest. It can be as small as a ring around your finger or as huge as this very mountain...but no matter the size or the outward appearance of ther armour it will still protect you. "
He turned his hand and the armour faded and the ring at the Guest's feet.
" Take it now, Guest and leave. I...would prefer to be left alone..there is much work to be done after all. "
Create Artifact 3 PP: Unnamed Armour for Azael who may name it if he so desires. He may also decide of the exact effects it will have other than its ability to change size and form.
Pruinus saving Scorch would also work... I was planning on creating some... terrifying beast out of the fire elemental and the toxic lake, but... that can happen slowly over time!
~The GodCrater~
Scorch woke in time to see Pruinus appear over the lip of the GodCrater.  While part of him quailed away from the chill eminating from the God of Cold, another part realized that she was his best hope for survival.  The small spark zoomed away from the surface and raced towards Pruinus, hearing the squaks and screeches of the Craterspawn as they spotted him trying to escape.  He stopped close (but not too close) and shouted: "Help!  Help!  They're going to EAT me!"
~The Everlasting Volcano~
The winds swept around the volcano, funneled through the valley between it and the mountains to the south.  The wind eroded the walls of the mountains and pushed away the small bits of plantlife that were trying to establish themselves.  The rocks turned to sand, and soon a small desert filled the valleys surrounding the Everlasting Volcano.
1 AP:  (de?)nourish land:  A desert stretches between the Everlasting Volcano and the mountains to the south.
Azazel/Go'El watched the smith forge for days on end, listening to the ringing hammerblows and the sizzle of hot ore in water. This form was becoming impossible to maintain. It was not the pain, for the Fused God was pain. Forcing two gods into such a limited form, it was... difficult.
When the forge god had finished and held out the ring, Azazel/Go'El took it gently, admiring the gleam in the weakening firelights. The age he had waited for was coming to a close, the final parts interlocking. He felt his hatred growing gnarled within him.
Suddenly he felt a disturbance in the ether. A presence in the Godcrater.
Was it...
A god? In his domain?!
He must leave, and now. But not before one last attempt at subterfuge. He began to walk towards the hall entrance, speaking over his shoulder.
I hope that you take up arms against Leaf, young one. I found you. More will. If you do not choose war, Leaf will force it upon you, and by then, you will be alone against an army. No friends, no family, and nowhere to hide.
And your tools not useful any longer...
The god vanished into smoke, leaving the forge god to his thoughts, and his work.
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. -Revelation 21:6
Leaf barely had a chance to comprehend what was going on before Pruinus was gone. He stood in the barren wasteland, looked around. If he tried very hard, he could feel the presence of these spirits that the Prime Winister had talked of. They had even spoken to him: how could he deny them. And, if they were of the progenitor, they were his kin. There was only one thing to do with kin. Establish order.
"Hello?" Leaf asked. He felt a little odd, talking to the air, but the air responded.
"Hello."
"You are my brothers and sisters. If you swear to serve life, then I will dedicate all I am to your glory and honor."
There was a pause. It stretched out, and even a god's patience would be tried. Eventually, a voice returned, "We already have. As you wrote your laws, we enacted them."
Leaf hadn't realized that anyone had been watching or paying attention. It made him smile. He disliked being alone, but had been alone much as of late. It was comforting to know that these spirits were there.
"So you have, so you have. Then," the god of life willed the book of natural laws to materialize again, "I will add your names to the law. What are they?"
It felt as if the universe took a very deep breath. Perhaps this would take some time.
~Later~
Leaf's hand felt cramped from writing. There were a LOT of name to record. But, finally, the last one was entered. It was right that these spirits, who were effectively the people of the universe, consented to be governed.
The tiny god had barely put the book away when he felt another presence approaching. It was unfamiliar, but much to his surprise, he saw the goddess of the cold approaching him again.
"Hail, Lady Pruinus. What brings you back so soon?"
Thought, I assumed that Artun was looking for Leaf, so that's you.
As Sa waited for a response, the crown grew dark. The sun split into seven, and then abruptly went dim. A great Murk set in to the crown valley, and Sa's petals quivered ominously. This was no good. The absence of light meant that these flowers would die, as would those that depended on them for sustenance.
Sa outpaced its corporeal manifestation entirely, so great was the span of ground it traveled -- petals were not known for their speed, after all. The divine entity had whisked itself upwards to better inspect the seven suns: They were dim, umbral things, but there was still a dull ember at the core of each.
Sa's petals were given time to catch up as the divinity considered its course. As they rose, so too did great chunks of earth and stone, the petals and flowering plants having convinced the stone to bear them upwards. Many of these Earth Motes were quite large, and bore upon them several buildings, most still with cowering humans still inside. Rising too were fields and pastures, though the plants and animals riding thereupon were considerably less panicked.
Delicately, Sa reached out, plucking one of the suns from the sky, removing it from its orbit, guiding it down towards the waiting Earthmotes with an endless stream of blossoms.
For now, these humans would survive. They were close enough to the seventh sun that they would have light and warmth, and the lack of intervening obstacles in the sky would let the light smoulder farther than within the deep foliage of the ground.'
AP Show
1 AP - Command Land : Sa raises Earth Motes from the Crown Valley into the sky. They float between 200m to 425m above the highest peaks in the Crown. As Earthmotes go, these are on the small side, the largest having room for only three small buildings (or one large building).
2 AP - Create/Modify Artifact : Sa diverts one of the seven suns from its rotation to hover endlessly, centered above the Crown, known hereafter as The Beacon. This sun provides light and warmth for the surrounding Earthmotes, and (once the suns ignite again) will provide a constant guide for any terresterial races, below. As it is remains always directly above the Crown, it allows travel by night, as it's position provides a constant, fixed position, to navigate against.
1 AP - Harm Humans : The humans "saved" by Sa are not well adjusted to life on Earthmotes, and the humans still in the Crown Valley are not well adjusted to having a goodly number of their brethren suddenly spirited into the sky (not to mention the loss in resources and production).
