I actually think the advantage mechanic is nice. Yes, it means that you can't get advantage from other sources, but if you are in a blind fury, then you shouldn't be looking for minor tactical advantages. You're just, "THOG SMASH!" Why do you care if the guy is prone or you're invisible?

Im unsure how people feel about it in terms of gaming rules. But the reallife stories about the Berserkar rages describe the Berserkar going into a virtual coma after a rage, due to exhaustion. The stories are similar to, and related to, what happens to a Werewolf - a Beserkar insanity, followed by catatonic sleep and amnesia.
In D&D, it makes sense if the Rager must rest for an amount of time after each Rage. Even to the point of being carried around by fellow teammates.
So, the length and depth of the exhaustion can diminish as the Rager advances in level.
Level 0 (Novice): Before Raging again, 8 hours of rest, as if in a magical sleep; amnesia on awakening. Level 5 (Journeyer): Before Raging again, 2 hours of rest; full recollection. Level 10 (Master): Before Raging again, 1 hour of rest; can delay the rest until later but not Rage again before then. Level 15 (Great): before Raging again, 15 minute rest. Level 20 (Epic): No significant effects.

I like the barbarian but I wish they added more to the packet.
Fix humans to make them more original. Fix the armor. Add more monsters. Give rules for multiclassing.

I feel like the rage mechanic and restrictions are cool enough that the daily limit seems unnecessary and unproductive, except to prevent the barbarian from popping Rage every time a door needs to be opened or something.

I hope to see the optional “skinchanger” features soon. The Berserkar are actually doing a kind of shamanic magic, where they transform their aura into the form of a ferocious animal. This type of magic is called “aura-traveling” (Norse ham-farir). The word for “aura” is literally “skin”, but meaning the “shape”. It seems similar to the Amerindian term, “skin-walker”. The Berserkar could send their soul aura out-of-body to manifest as a ferocious beast, or even transform their physical body into one. Even in a simple rage, their mindforce aura transforms into that of a beast.
It is fine to have a Berserkr who isnt “aura-strong”, and who cant “skin-change”, but it is important for the option to be there for those who want it. As such, Charisma is an important ability for the Berserkr, both for shamanic magic and for general intimidation.

This is a good first pass at the barbarian. They feel totally bad ass. Which is what anyone playing a barbarian wants, really.

True. No matter what, they have to be bad ass.

I always feel that a somehow-conditional trigger for rage serves as a far, far better "restriction" than a flat "Only X times per Y".
There have been enough threads discussing it that examples are pretty easy to find, with a search or two. Many aren't even much more complex than "X/day" is.
This is what my playtest team and I have already been talking about. Our solution is that you will get +1 what the package says per-day, BUT you have to be bloodied or get me some good RP reason why you just blacked out and started slashing everything in sight.
It looks like fun and our Dwarf is very excited to hang up her Fighter's Armor and go all crazy-like.

Looks good. After the second read through, definately looks cool and barbaric.
Orzel's ideas for future Barbarian styles
Frenzy- Dex based Rage like 3E's Whirling Frenzy and 4E's Whirling Slayer. Extra attack and AC instead of damage and resistance. Rampage- Cha based Thaneborn style Rage. Some way to frighten enemies? Heal on hit? Lycantropy- The Animalistic Rage. Magical skinchanger. Get that bite attack and claws and junk. Can work for Wildblood wardens too. Earthstrength- Another magical rage. Stone and bark skin and stuff for defense barbarians. Elemental Rage- The Manual of the Planes could contain a magical rage for each element. Works for more warden style and 4e style primal barbarians.
Orzel, Halfelven son of Zel, Mystic Ranger, Bane to Dragons, Death to Undeath, Killer of Abyssals, King of the Wilds.
