Sounds like a problem.
Maybe someone who cares will come along and help you.
I would help you, but I don't care.

You dont care? You took the time out of your day to post a reply, just to let this dude know you dont care? Wow man, thats cold, even for you.
But anyways,
I dont really care either, haha. But id still be willing to help out, but my computer wont even run NWN2 so I havnt even bothered trying DDO, so I havnt a clue. Where does it instal these files too? I mean they gotta be going someplace right? Find out where and then you can create your own short cut.

Try posting this in ComBiz or the section for DDO/DDI. They care.

Well, obviously it didn't install fine... Other than deleting everything and downloading the installer again, I'm not sure what else to do. But, like the others said, you'll get a better response posting either in the DDO section or on a gaming site.

This really isn't a problem. It's more a sign of evolving intelligence in your machine and quite possibly a real care for you by said machine. You see, DDO is terrible and your computer seems to know it. In an effort to protect your from the very real suck that DDO represents, your computer has lovingly made it as difficult as possible to play it. You should thank it.

Back to off-topic, I installed Far Cry 3 last week and it plays fine.
Took me a little while to figure out that you have to play around a bit and craft holsters and pouches before taking on outposts and quest lines.
And damn those Cassonwary, been clawed to death a few times while sniping some of Vaas' men.

My oldest son got that for xbox. He played my PC versions of Farcry 1 & 2, and said I should get 3 for the PC.
I don't play his xbox (which he has some awesome games for) because my hands are so use to playing PC games with keyboard & mouse, I can't work the xbox controllers to save my life.

Yeah, PC games, that's what you do on the computer.

I'm sure you are. Is it a game with 'tube' in the name somewhere? Is the main character named Maria Ozawa or something? Good game, that.

Playing a shooter with a controller rather than mouse and keyboard is masochism.

I picked up Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for my PS3 a little bit back, and trying to put the target over the bad guys while moving is hell using the joystick on the contoller, especially when trying to snipe something off in the distance that I can just barely see...
