I figured it was my turn to write a war scenelet. It's been a while since I've written anything, but I think it's decent.
Moral: Golem crafting is expensive.

Well, yeah. I mean, *I* got trapped, and I guess *I* started to wildly blame Artun for it once I got out, but the only other people who were there were Seg (who obviously doesn't count) and Onus (who does, but... isn't at this particular meeting). Pruinus *might* have some reservations given prior conversations, but Zebus... I can't really see why Zebus would react with such hostility.
That said, I appear to have missed many posts. I hope my intended post... can still happen. I was going to end one branch of the war tonight :D

Zebus doesn't trust any gods but the ones in front of him currently, and even that might be pushing it. We all need allies of some sort though. Trying to go at it alone in our settings doesn't nearly work as well.

Good point, Joran. Zebus has totally been untrusting of Marcus... well, I mean, of Urru... well, I mean... um... aw nerts. :P
Anywho, I'm mostly just amused at poor Seg. He's trying so hard, but everything that could go wrong for him is going wrong. Hopefully he'll eventually be able to get the other gods to trust him. It will just take longer than I had thought.
EDIT: Hey, Forgotten, are they any craterspawn left in the world? It looks like they've been driven out of the north, the crater itself is now well defended, the south is a wasteland of magma, and the west... well, the less said about the destruction in the west, the better. It looks like the invasion is over.

Well, almost. The hordes are broken, yes. A few individual flocks will constantely seek out life to destroy until they are destroyed themselves.
And there is one last named location where the battle is not fully decided in terms of loss. Avarom.
I recall from somehwere that Moondoggy wanted the golem-making process to go awry, so he can keep creating scenes until that arc satisfies him.
