Aldii,
I think it makes sense as it is. We can get some sort of family structure between the gods of fire, cold, magma and stone going.

So Thought and I were talking earlier, and now I think I'm going to change my god into basically the Good counterpart of his god. A lot of the details will remain the same, but I'm adding "Ancient Spirits of Good" to the name and changing the domain to Good.
Basically, I'm going to be focusing on stories and myths, and then ascending the subjects of those stories and myths as exarchs. It's basically an extension of my existing plan to focus on myths and stories so it's more in line with what we have and creates what I think is a nice counterpoint to Thought's god.

So basically, you're going to be a legendary hero factory. I like it.
Since your "god" isn't really a personal being of any kind, and since legendary heroes tend to end up aiding the gods of good in most settings, how do you feel about letting other players buy (or at least rent) exarchs from you? Like, some other god temporarily recruits one of your heroes to do something (assuming the hero would be inclined to work for that god), and pays you with AP? Or, if a hero seems like a really good candidate to become someone's exarch, you can post the story of how the hero found his way into the court of one of the gods, and the god's player pays you with a larger number of AP?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your god, but if I'm not this could create neat opportunities.

Ara, are you going to be a Plane as well? If so, I really want you and Thought to get into a fight. Trying to determine who has 'home plane advantage' would be... difficult.

PinkPonyPrincess (and here I thought I'd live my whole life without ever seriously addressing someone with those words) that sounds perfectly acceptable, welcome, even. I love any opportunity to interact with other gods, and since I won't be acting as an antagonist like Thought, that interaction is always as readily apparent. But yeah, for sure, those all seem like cool possibilities. And Toe, obviously. The sheer slapstick of it is half the reason I went for this idea.

NEW GAME REQUIREMENT
Hi everybody! We're about to begin!
Before we do, we'd like to know from EVERY player how you would like to enter the game. You have two options: Ascension by another player, or self-ascension.
Ascension by another player can look like a lot of things. Examples:
Glole laid aside his hammer and looked on his sculpture. He breathed upon it with the breath of Life and the marble lips parted as Simala breathed her first breath.
Rillek stumbled and his cup of god-stuff sloshed, sending droplets of sheer potentiality downwards, where they hit a rock. And the Rock began to think, and Hrmn was born.
Patri knew she had to hide the stolen timey-wimey thing, but nothing was dark enough. She willed a deeper and deeper darkness into a shadow, and deep in that darkness, something awoke.
Tra attacked Tri and ripped out a chunk of Godflesh, throwing it aside as Tra renewed its assault. The flesh flew, and as it flew, it changed...
Basically, ascension can be a concious act, an unconcious act, an intentional act or an unintentional act. The parent or child God can know who their parent/child is, or not. We've generally found that the best stories come from Gods who have relationships, even unknown ones, with other Gods, and reccomend it.
If, however, you have a compelling reason/desire to be self-ascended, that is fine as well, but we'd like to to come up with an interesting reason why your God has come to be at a particular moment (aka, the god of Darkness doesn't exist simply because there is now a light source and a solid object).
So, if each God could post and say how they would like to be ascended, that would be great. Once you've done that, you're all set to go!

AND I"M BACK.
*and there was little rejoicing*
Anyway, bringing back my WorldWarp god in one form, because I enjoyed him, and didn't really get far with him.
Name: Karak Greater Domains: Corruption Moderate Domains: Lesser Domains: Abberations, Grafts Physical Appearance: A shifting blot of shadowy-ness, that morphs to take on the appearance of what it's focused on, or thinking about. As he finds more creatures, the base shape will continue to reflect increasingly large amounts of creatures all at once (taking the "best" elements from each). Divine Symbol: Any faithful he may or may not have (likely cults of some kind) would bear some sort of corrupted/altered part of their body or a graft of some description.

I would (that is to say, Sa) prefer to be ascended over a promise.
For a non-self ascension, this would be at least two gods making a promise between themselves, and sealing the deal with the ascension AP. Promises to one's self are not good enough. They should not be immediately aware that their actions have ascended a god, but they should realize that this promise was different. More powerful. Ominous.
For a self-ascension, Sa would arise from a promise made between mortals, but otherwise in a very similar scenario.

Karak would probably be ascended through some sort of accident, such as someone messing with the fabric of the universe, and going a little awry, or an attempt at creation being tampered with, or something similar. Something going very wrong (but not necessarily in a bad way. Just severly unintended or something to that effect).
That I think would fit him best.

Hmm...
I would prefer for Azgo to self-ascend by sireing himself...from his former selves....that are him. Maybe some more explanation is required.
This preference stems back from my depiction of Azgo as a pair of fused twins. It is not a form that he choose willingly. He was originaly a pair of gods tumbling and spiraling through the ether that are unnaturally becoming connected, and both of them are fighting thier hardest to stop the fusion. It is painful and feels terribly wrong as they come together and crash on either the world or an instantly created demiplane as the fusion finishes. As he awakens, he is consumed with pain and the first sickness, himself and his condition, is born.
That seem good?
He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. -Revelation 21:6
