Okay, I may not respond for a while on the IC thread as I have a tendency to take a while writing my entries, but I've made the effort to read the IC last few pages and I plan to do these things.
1. Pruinus travelling the world (however carefully) has caused many more mortals to recognize her and worship her, to the extent that she now also siphons off power to those who worship her. Those who directly worship, as well as those who believe in adaptability or challenge is important in life siphon their power from Pruinus instead of Sa. Hopefully Raven will be okay with this, if not it won't happen. On a mechanical note, Divine characters who worship Pruinus can choose to do Cold damage as opposed to Radiant on their major features (The Paladin's Divine Challenge being the best example I can think of, maybe At-Will Powers too)
2. Timmy will encounter Nix travvellers on their way up the Eternal Volcano to make negotiations with the Agni'Vohda. He'll join them for a while, having nowhere else to go.
3. The Nix will attempt to establish a peace and kinship between themselves and the Agni'Vohda, despite their past differences.
4. The Horned Knight will materialize into the world as he recognizes the Godbeast as a threat to the natural way of things. He will fight The Godbeast until one of them falls. If Ka'Voh is around when the Godbeast is defeated, The Horned Knight will brand him an abomination of nature and attack him, possibly causing a lot of trouble with the talks between Agni'Vohda and Nix.
5. Pruinus will join the fight against the Godbeast, and after that will leave to find Leaf if he hasn't appeared by then. She'll most likely wish to check that her modifications to his rules are okay.
6. The Primal Spirits will attempt to use the Fallen Sun in the middle of the fields (If it's still there) to create another Draconic race, but one that can help bridge the gap between the mortal races and Dragons. This race will be the Dragonborn, and will hoepfully form a bridge between the two groups of creatures.
I won't necessarily be doing things in that order or exactly as mentioned, but I've put this up so that if anything here isn't possible, someone else will point it out hopefully. And as Topheh said, maybe this makes things a little easier.
Topheh, I think the formal Admin Plan Update Compendium idea will be more work than its worth. Looking back over the few things people have had issues over, only Raven's creation of lying magic and my latest evil plot seem like they'd have made the list. I'm not sure if Raven had it planned at the beginning of that week, and mine was discussed in the OOC ahead of time anywho (although, perhaps too far ahead of time). In short, it seems unlikely to prevent these issues, while adding a lot of work to the admins.
That said, sharing our plans in the OOC thread makes sense. Perhaps we can have a tag to help people who have little time to find the relevant discussions? And maybe with a line underneath saying who we think might be interested. So if I thought I was doing something that either Pruinus would be interested in, or that James might object to, as well as Sa/Raven, I'd start the post of with the following:
Anywho, moving on:
James, I was planning on having Seg snatch that sun, but your idea for it is far far superior to my own. That said, Seg's still right on top of it. Perhaps he can grab it, then Pruinus might get it from him later?
James & Raven, (and anyone else interested in Divine Magic), perhaps a more complex system of Divine Magic can be set up to satisfy everyone? I was thinking of something along the lines that Sa's power does the majority of the heavy lifting for generic divine spells (such as cure light wounds), with a specific god adding a trickle of power to customize the effect. For example, Cure Light Wounds would be 95% Sa, and 5%, say, Pruinus. Pruinus's power gives it the appropriate effects (leave the body cold, coats the ground nearby in frost, etc). It contrast, domain spells would come primarily from the associated god or power source. So, worship Pruinus, and a Cleric gets access to Pruinus' Icy Bolt of Cold Pointy Death. The power for that comes 95% from Pruinus, and 5% from Sa.
James, some comments on your plans that intersect with my creations:
Since people seemed onboard with the idea, I deleted my posts about the interactions with Zebus. Topheh, you's still actually fits. Do you want to delete it, or should I respond?
done and done. And we're humming along again (I hope).
Thought, a Thought for those orbs.
As each one is tied to a sun, perhaps it might be more interesting if each orb was 'controllable' by the owner of that particular sun, as opposed to an all or nothing proposition?
James, what were your thoughts on the split divine magic proposal?
On a side note, divine power coming from the respective gods is old hat. It's been done before. A lot. If nothing else, Raven's system is new and fresh.
Additionally, when considering how magic fits into a D&D setting, I'd recommend considering Sanderson's Second Law, as well as the Donkey Law.
Sanderson's Second Law is that a magic systems limitations are more interesting than its abilities. I'd argue that its more interesting to limit divine magic to primarily coming from a single god than to have it open to all gods. And I'd argue that it is more interesting still to limit divine magic as sometimes coming from Sa, sometimes not, and sometimes in part. The more limits me have, the deeper the background, the richer the world.
The Donkey law (also called Taylor's First Law) is simple: If it's cheaper to do something by magic than to have the donkey do it, then you've just ruined your medieval economy.
Topheh, that could work well, but then TASOE would really want to steal that Volcano's sun, too. Are you okay with that? You can always return it later.
I think that a variaiton of the Psionic power source in 4e with its fixed pool of points that you could devote to the amplification of small at-will spells is probably the simplest to modify for a mana-based system.
For 4th E, I could see mana converting nicely. Lets say that every Daily Power costs 10 mana, every encounte costs 5, and ever at will 1. Let's say a character has 16 Mana (ability to cast one of each). Use an at-will power, spend 1 mana, but it's such a minor expenditure that you regain the mana at the start of your next turn. As long as you have the movements necessary, you could spend up to 16 at-will spells in a single turn (not that any character could ever actually do that). In contrast, lets say you want to use encounter powers. You can use 3 an encounter, and they'll only regenerate at the end of the counter. Want to use that daily power in the same encounter? Sorry, you're too tired from all those encounter powers (essentially, you are converting that one daily power slot into two encounter powers). Want to use a daily power in the next encounter? Well, use 10 mana, and such an intense exertion leaves you unable to regain it until you take an extended rest. You're still left with 6 mana for future encounters.
(wipes tear from eyes)
I found this hilarious:
:D Is it an inaccurate assessment of Azgo's actions? All good villians brood!
Technically he's a god, so still just a little sub-par to batman!
I've been reading through the entire IC story and I falling in love with this LoC all over again. I'm still at around Page 30, but will most likely have a response up on Saturday or Sunday. I'm still around, Pruinus doesn't need any possessing yet.
James, in case you miss it: my god just created Spring, along the same lines as your winter. And the primal spirits are trying to get Pruinus to join my god and Agni.
Topheh, Zebus, personally I think it would be cool if you guys eventually made seasons as well. Presumably Summer for Agni and Fall for Zebus.
Summer is the default. Leaf said that everything was flammable.
But okay! I'll make a real season.
Sorry about this but it does look like I am going to drop out of this game after all.
Truth is, I'm terrible for procastination and I probably shouldn't have joined this game in the first place XD
Lately, it's been harder for me to keep track of events and I've been actively putting off more important things just to catch up with the LoC and I can't allow myself to do that anymore.
But enough of my lifestory XD
I'll still keep popping in with progress on my Agni (Which hasn't been worked in since I posted the latest version, because I've been reading the IC in my spare time :L) and I'd still love to do illustrations for other gods if you'll allow me.
I'd prefer Pruinus wasn't mindcontrolled by TASOE, but I have no probelms with her becoming a Exarch/Hero/Ally for someone else to use. Same goes for Timmy, whose fanbase far outnumbers Pruinus anyway.
Anyway, have fun with game and try not to fight too much over who gets to keep Timmy.
Well you are always welcome back James! Keep on popping in, and we'll still be here!
As for the drawings, keep on drawing!
I think this means that... Azgo gets Timmy.
This is going to get dark.
In all seriousness, though, sorry to see you go, James. As Joran said, pop on in anytime!
So... speaking of unmolested...
What if i killed you?
In all seriousness, would you mind if I killed pruinus farther down the road so as to make Azgo's threat much more credible? Of course, that would make appearing later difficult, and you may not wish to see that sort of story unfold. I am fine with whatever you decide.
I'm sorry to hear that, James. Pruinus was one of my favorites, and you were a great player. I hope scheduling changes soon so you can come back. And don't worry, Pruinus is a good guy. I don't mind control good guys
Speaking of which, now that Shadow returned and free gods from my evil power, I thought it would be a good time to draw public opinion. I had planned on taking control of Umbra again, and other players have urged me to take control of Altruis again, but I was planning on leaving Onus where he was. Crimson had wanted me to do something with his character, but I just am blanking on ideas. However, before I do any of this, are there objections, encouragements, or general thoughts on the matter?
I've left so its not upto me to dictate what you can do with Pruinus. I just didn't like the idea of mind control to make her do evil things. Otherwise, anything can happen with her.
Raven and Forgotten:
I vote we attack the Leviathan with our dragons.
Speaking of which, Raven, I haven't forgotten that the Azure dragon's are attacking the Behemoth's stomach (I feel a little like playing StarTropics now, for some reason, or BoF II). I just haven't figured out a good way or time to respond, but it's coming.
EDIT: Also, personally, I'd say that Pruinus is too awesome to die.
Has Thought actually made dragons from the leviathan's sun?
Also, there's also the whole "supressing 1 AP of super sun explosion harm" angle to consider.
I had suggested to Topheh, but not sure it made the rounds, that I could set one of those sun-linked "bombs" (the ones that will hopefully actually be used for nourishes). So, the Leviathan lets out the blast, angry survivor dragons rip it apart, creating new dragons (Dragonborn?) in the process, get the sun, use it to heal their fallen, and bind the unkillable leviathan to serve as a food source for all time. Or something like that.
I'll let forgotten give a final yes/no to this, as his dragons are the ones that are going to be blown to bits... but this could work. Not sure about the food source part, though...
I think there was a misunderstanding on us there, Pen. I meant Seg the Liar doesn't look like much of of a liar. But Father Thorn definitly looks like a Father of Thorns. No insult intended on that
Alright Pen, two thoughts.
First, how do you feel about the snow elves taking a blow and losing one of their cities? I am begining to think about Azgo learning of their worship of them only to be disgusted by their lack of devotion when he sends commands and visions. Basically something cataclysmic.
And second, Azgo will be needing a smith soon. I was thinking about just creating an exarch, but that seems a little cheap in a cooperative game. What if you created a proud (race goes here) smith, accomplish any ends you might want to (especially against me), and then off him for me to pick up and use in the Abyss? That seems much more fleshed out to me.
But as always, the choice remains with you.
Can we get a rollcall on which sun is where? With thought moving them all about, I'm less than certain which came from which, and which suns have yet to birth dragons (or where those suns might be)
Godcrater: Destroyed, or at least deconstituted. Might pose a problem if we ever have a subplot about getting them all back together. This one created Ebon/Black dragons before it went boom.
Eternal Volcano: Still there, but manipulated by the Behemoth to produce on of the Nourish/Harm bombs. Made Red dragons
Beacon: Inside the Behemoth, along with the Azure dragons that it made.
The North: Still there, still shining, not affected so far. Made white dragons.
Sil Arkosh: Taken by the Leviathan. Made Orange dragons
Western Badlands: Currently floating above a mysterious tower and surrounded by no less than four players. Hasn't produced any dragons (although Shadow has expressed interest)
The Ocean: Swallowed by the Leviathan, still inside the beast, still holding the explosive energy from when Agni tried to nuke the world. Hasn't made any dragons. Likely about to appear during the battle with the Dragon Moot.
Three small notes:
Umbra snuck away a shard of the sGsosdscsrsastsesrs sun, perfect for trying to restore it (I think the rest of the sun's essence went into Scorch/Eclipse Aflame). Perhaps a subplot to free poor old Scorch AND restore the sun? Anywho, this fragment is currently in the Zizu.
The Badlands sun has also been modified to produce a difficult-to-penetrate stormwall around the main continent.
James had the fun idea of one of the orbs producing dragonborn. That still seems fun to me. Hopefully whoever makes one of the two remaining dragons thinks so, too.
Hey people, sorry I haven't poste as much as I normally do. Busy week... and now computer problems.
Anyways, two things:
Topheh: These "refugees" just can't catch a break, can they? Persecution, flight through hostile lands, month at sea with only insects and fish to eat, and now, just when they reach land, a gigantic worm-beast is going to kill them all. Rough times.
Thought: I just wanted to clarify something, given your post about the cavern. Azgo found the old workshop and stole away the forge to the Abyss. Then he journeyed to the top of the mountain to wonder why everything was dark... again (i am positive our creation's light sources are clap-on, clap-off). Then he left the world for the Abyss, specifically the first layer of the abyss which is a darkness-filled cavern of ice to rebuild the forge. He is not currently in the world, and Thereus' cavern is not coated in ice. Sorry about that.
Oh, and Pen: Previous questions?
Actually, I put it on the FAR side of the continent for a reason. I'm not *that* mean
Hey guys! Its good to be back, so, what have you been up-
(Forgotten checks the IC)
AAAUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!! All hands on deck! Man your battlestations; the Inevitable is off the port bow! This is NOT a drill! I repeat: This is NOT a drill! Code Ultra-Uber-Impossibly red-RED!
Three days?! Three?! What happenned? Nobody has anything to say?
To Pen: I was thinking about that, but Azgo is... less than inclined towards mental domination Thought style. And Joran asked Shadow before taking Marcus, so snatching Thereus leaves me a little uncomfortable.
Well, I've been... waiting. For you, for Thought, for... someone else
Also busy. Stupid work.
In the hopes of spurring discussion and such that we go on towards a blaze of glory rather than our current dying blaze...
Shall we talk end-game?
Yeah, I think we probably should. Posts are starting to taper off and it would be better to end strong than weak.
Well, I had assumed that someone else was going to start talking, but... I can start.
We've ended LoCs in a few ways in the past.
Way 1 is to just let things taper off and then call it done when no one is posting, but not have any particular effort put into it. I... don't really like this option... the last LoC ended this way.
Way 2 is to end in such a way that we create a number of interesting hooks for the DMs to use as launching-off points for campaigns, but doesn't have a particularly climactic ending. For instance... loc-central.wikia.com/wiki/The_World_Tod.... AR ended with the Gods leaving, but no real dramatic climax.
Way 3 is to end with some sort of dramatic, climactic event that is resolved right in the nick of time without doing lasting damage to the entire world. For example, WorldWarp ended with the awakening of one of the Great Monsters and the fight of Gods and mortals to defeat it (which they did). While the Triskelion was devastated, the rest of the world was left relatively untouched.
Way 4 is to end in a dramatic, climactic event that dramatically reshapes the world and remains either unresolved or resolved in such a way that the implications of its resolution are vast and undescribed. For instance, the end of LightVoid saw war break out on nearly every planet left in existence, and at the end of the game, saw the leader of the bad guys defeated, but his armies still rampaging across many of the other worlds.
And of course, these can be combined.
Given the way this LoC has played out, Way 4 seems the most appropriate ending. Some of you know my desire to cause a portion of this world to break off into its own plane, Loom-style, and go careening through the metaverse, slowly becoming Culthet from WorldWarp. Honestly, what I think should happen is a final battle between the 'Good' Gods and TASOE. Thoughts from others?
Here's what I'm considering / would like to see (This would fall under way 3, I believe) :
Dragons defeat the other two godbeasts -- The Orange dragons would seek out their kin to the north (guided by Agni's new exarch, perhaps), rally with the Whites, and take out the Zizu. Meanwhile, the Azures from the inside and dragons spawned from the stone-tower sun in the west (where all the gods are around) defeat the Behemoth / godmountain. (Potential plot thing: since the dragon orbs have been spawning from death, perhaps Zebus makes the stone tower into a conduit for the great dark beyond, and all that death energy causes the orb to birth forth the final dragons.
The Crystal Heart is either rendered moot, rules lawyer'd, or retconned on account of the godbeasts being defeated by mortals (dragons spawned from death) and not gods.
Finally, Cantorix, Lucan, and Red Dragonette finish binding the mootstone to all 6 of the dragon broods. In response, the 7th sun, fueled by the death of the leviathan (which birthed dragonspawn) and all the dragons fighting it, creates Dragonborn, servitor race to dragons, and a symbol of the dragon's unity (since dragonborn have all colors).
Sa reveals the existence of TASOE, and then leaves.
The other (non-Azgo) gods resolve the buisness with TASOE, and then get into an end-game state themselves.
Meanwhile, Azgo is lurking in the abyss, biding his time.
PS: (There is, perhaps, an interesting parallel between Itja-Rek and TASOE).
I like most of that... honestly, a big theme of this iteration has been that the Gods generally muck things up... okay, rephrase... AGNI usually mucks things up while the mortals find themselves perfectly capable of handling themselves.
My thought is that the Gods set about finding the heart and destroying it, so they're not completely useless, but not actually saving the world from the monsters, either.
The TASOE to Itja-Rek connection is highly intriguing. It would require some... setup.
Thought: Which suns have been corrupted, where are the red orbs, and... the Leviathan has two suns in it, yes?
So... as... we've had one post this week, we're gonna just pretend that this week is EXTRA long and go for two weeks before the next Reset.
Hopefully Thought and Forgotten will return full-time to us soon!
Sorry, I blame my mother in law. She's here for the holiday. There's been a lot less catching up at home than I thought, and a lot more driving aimlessly "sightseeing" than I thought there would be. At present, three days more, and another day is scheduled for tomorrow.
Regarding the godbeasts, I was thinking about possibily returning to my original idea for TASOE (a god that's a dimension). The beasties aren't dead, but rather eventually get expelled from the world and form the "body" of that dimension. The heart can be largely ignored (I liked the idea of the artificat, but how things have turned out are more interesting, and it was also meant to be at the "heart" of a story arc for a player no longer active).
I would like to see the conflict between Azgo and the firsts get a little bit of resolution. As it is, Azgo's been "defeated" for a while, but needs to have a come back.
As for Ita-Rek, that would be a fascinating connection.
Anywho, I'll try to post more thoroughly (and actually in the IC tread) as soon as I can. Hopefully tomorrow at lunch.
Just drive on up here, we'll introduce our mothers-in-law and they'll spend time bragging about their children and we can sneak off to do 'important' things
I'M BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!!
And i cast Level 29 Daily "Ressurect Interest"!
Unfortunately, my boss decided on monday that I needed to write a paper for him by... tomorrow, so my time has been completely taken from me. I'll try and get something short up later today, but probably no major posts for me until saturday or sunday.
It seems a few of us have a resist 15 to the Enthusiastic damage type.
I'm still waiting for Toph to post the follow-up to the Dwarves me mentioned working on this past monday...
Raven, good to see you!
Or your type font.
While you are here, what is the satus of your... following? Do you have one? WHat are they like, and how do the majority of people know/worship Sa?
I would like to know before implimenting some ideas with offical gods of High Ithol.
Oh, it'll be good... I just need to get the time to write it. :D
In other news, where in the world has Thought gone? I think we're all waiting for him to post for his characters...
You are? Shoot. For some reason, I thought I was waiting on you. I'll definitely have something up tomorrow.
Perhaps there is a connection between a lack of posting and people waiting for each other with little to communication on what to post.
We should work on that.
In other news, does anyone want to talk about Timmy? Where to go, what to do and all that jazz? Anyone have anything in particular they would like to see happen?
Forgotten, I've moved the dwarves along. We can still go with our original plan if we collapse the tunnel :D
I do want Timmy to request the aid of the Agni'Vohda at some point... I have some stuff I want to write for them still to set up how they work more fully.
Also, Forgotten. Those western continents... I've put a beast and a biome on them... can I put a sentient race? Don't want to trample on your plans too much.
Okay. I have two in mind that I'll put there in the next two weeks. One doesn't speak Common (but their language has already been spoken!)
If you're willing to share, what are your overall plans for that part of the world? Want some help?
Huh, as far as I can tell, it's just you, Topheh, who is waiting on a response from me (artun to agni). Anyone else?
I'll tell you my plans tomorrow. Late night at the moment. And... YES. I would LOVE some help with shaping the western continent.
@Pen: Was that enough disillusionment?
And Are you still hanging around here, James? Just want to know if you are here.
Its fairly simple overall. My main focus is on two things: creating a slightly more ordered/safe area than the ravages of the the Eastern continent, and building multiple kingdoms. That's not to say that i want a West=Peace, East=War dicotomy, just a little more balance. I am also planning on opening up a relationship between East and West given that the majority of the East have no idea there is a West...
Another fun idea is if a dragon race was native to the West, as opposed to the others.
The main problem I am having is that embellishing a continent by myself, especially when i have many evil plans I wish to carry forward, is quite expensive.
And you're right, the continents need a name.
I propose Westeros and Easteros.
No, I'm not drawing either of those names from anything, really. Why do you ask?
Now I have a question, Thought don't you need the owners persmission before you can modify a greater plane?
Also, just cause I haven't posted, doesn't mean I'm not paying attention. I'm keeping an eye on things from afar....
Joran, no, you don't. I'll explain why, in a moment, but rules aside, if you'd rather I change the action, please do feel free to say so. I'd be absolutely thrilled to work with you to develop something more interesting.
Anywho, traditionally, demi-planes were the ones that were under the sole ownership of the god that created them (and so yes, one needed permission to meddle with those), while greater planes were the ones that devolved to public control after a week or two of exclusive control (and so, no, one did not need permission to meddle with those). I checked through the rules to see if that had changed for this iteration, but there was nothing along those lines, either way.
I'm quite glad that you're still watching. Post! We miss the dear old god of death.
EDIT: Forgotten, Topheh, given that only worshippers of Azgo are on the western continent, it seems only proper that they get to name it (and you've been quite good with the naming, Forgotten, so I'm sure you'll come up with something awesome). I have no ideas about the eastern continent, alas. Perhaps "Susan"? That's always a LoC fave.
And yeah, Thought is right. Minor planes are player-owned, but major ones are... modifiable. Which, of course, means you can modify it right back.
Hey guys! Sorry I basically dropped off the map like that. This has been a pretty crazy semester for me for a lot of reasons, but now school is done and I suddenly have lots of free time on my hands. And what is LoC if not a free-time-filler? My god was originally going to be a good counter-part to Thought's god, and I wouldn't want to start anything new so close to the end of the game. So I guess if anyone has anything they want to tie up or get done before the end, I can play the nice guy who helps you complete your goals, rather than the bad guy who messes them up. :D
Thought, if you're still around, might you delete the bit about the Azure Dragons felling the Behemoth? I've a longer post in progress to tie up that loose end.
(And while we're at it, I'd like to make Gold dragons from the "death" of Artun's beauty.
And then have the Gold and White Dragons maim the Zizu... )
Most certainly, Raven, consider it done!
I had thought you were done, there, so I had just wanted to make it clear that your beasties were victorious.
Ara, all things considered, your children (aka, the suns) have been much abused, in no small part by TASOE. Seems like a good time for Good to make a comeback.
I like Gold Dragons.
If we still want dragonborn, I have an idea for that. We still want dragonborn from the last orb, yes?
Oh, and a thought for the endgame. I can't remember another game where the gods have been *quite* so asinine to the mortals. What if the mortals banish us?
Well Ara, if you are looking for something to do or some one to play, I do have this exarch of order over here that could use a bit of screen time......
And Thought I was just making sure. I've been clueless to what to do since I've nearly destroyed the world once indirectly..... I figured the world could have used a reprieve from constant death, but then again it wouldn't be a LoC otherwise now would it! This has given me some ideas, that I'm mulling over. Maybe we aren't at an end game just yet!
Also Toph, this would be an awesome tie-in to your earlier suggestion how it ends. If I remember correctly new gods arose on that new plane oh so long ago, and this could be the precurser to just that!
I reccomend picking up another domain. It helps.
Well, the problem with Culthet is that we need to get rid of all the gods, AND kill off all of the mortals. That's... honestly, I want a more positive ending than that
we don't have to kill off everyone....... but that doesn't mean a large chunk cant go off in a massive cataclysm
I am probably biased by only having participated in this game once, but I am unsure if our goal for the endgame should be to establish a loose continuity of some sort withm previous games rather than examining the ending that fits this LOC the best and allowing it to stand independently.
Merely my thoughts however.
Oh, and great to see yuo again Ara! Hope to see you posting soon. Do you want in on the Hero of the Ages storyline I am trying to revive at the moment?
Wait a sec... Forgotten, did you just kill off Cantorix?
And yeah... the Culthet idea was nice, but... I'm liking some other ideas now too!
It might very well get him killed, yes. But not yet, no. Sorry for any confusion or lack of clarity.
Currently, he's on the frontlines battling dragonspawn and has just slipped into the rage that is inside all black dragons. Although now that i think about it, his death might be interesting...
Forgotten, what do you think about turning the Impaled Leviathan into a sort of "Eternal Proving Ground" for the dragons, where the Dragons make it their mandate to continuously attack the undying Leviathan and the dragonspawn it births, keeping it (effectively) pacified ad infinitum?
That sounds fun.
I'm a little sad that its at the Moot, but that doesn't seem likely to change. I'm all for it.
I'd like to gather all of the dragon colors together at the Mootstone, if possible. Can we make those Gold dragons quickly, and can we get some non-violent White Dragons as well?
Raven, would you say that there are two groups of Balor now? Those that I created, and then those that are the body of the behemoth, or would you say that there is only one group (all immortal mini behemoths)? Also, and I guess this would go to the admins as well, does that make the Balor an exarch race? Just curious how to play them.
As for the leviathan (and the Zizu), my thought had originally been to use their bodies to construct the demiplane that was eventually going to be TASOE's body. Seemed that ruin husks of exarchs would be appropriate. Not that things have to go that way, mind, but I thought it would be good to share what my thoughts had been.
Forgotten, by any chance would Azgo like to kill one of the First? If we're heading towards end game, I thought it might be nice if Azgo finally got revenge.
@Everybody but in response to Pen: Why yes, I would quite enjoy the destruction of a Firstborn. I think it would add a lot of weight and credibility to Azgo's machinations in-universe. And I would like to do that regardless of endgame distance.
There seems to be one prime candidate among us. James said that Pruinus was fair game for destruction, and it seems that no one is particularly interested in either interacting with her or her creations (come to think of it, there is not a lot of mantle passing about here. Onus' giants and Gelab Duhr, Rimmon's Nightwalkers, Pruinus' Nix). It would also be nice thematically: first to challenge Azgo, first to be destroyed.
My original plan was to help the Firstborn in their battles against the godbeasts and then slip away in the later part of the battle for some assassination. But it seems that both A): the godbeasts are not the threat they used to be, and B): Agni, Father Thorn, and Zebus are either partially inactive or frozen in time during a conversation everbody is waiting for someone else to advance.
So what If I instead sneak out through the Abyss-Great Beyond link and do some more subtle work in dispatching Pruinus untill the very end?
Comments, thoughts, problems, questions?
@Ara: No problem at all. To be honest, I'm not sure what I "need" per say as I have not planned anything too detailed nor specific. Nobody seems intent on controlling him despite earlier approval and the plan for him was lost with James. So basically I am commendeering him for the time being to launch an arc of my own. You could do a whole bunch of stuff. He could use an adventuring companion, a player controller, or some brainstorming on cool things he could do. If anything appeals to you or you have a question, feel free to ask.
